Content: I wish to thank other reviewers who pointed out that the so-called yellow shams are really cream colored, not yellow. They are absolutely right. I discern no yellow whatsoever in the shams, however the cream color goes beautifully with a spread that has some yellow in it. They are a true cream (very like ivory); If you have ever seen freshly churned butter, you’ve got the idea. I got these cream colored shams to replace the burgundy colored shams that I had to return. The burgundy had a pronounced pinkish color in it, which did not suit my color scheme (which is maroon with no pink tinge at all). Luckily, Amazon vendors make it easy to return when you get an unexpected color. These are the softest, most gorgeous pillow shams I have ever owned in my life. If you can find the right color, go for it!
