I have bought this pillowcase in many colors, and they are as vibrant as they are shown in the advertisement. The first time I bought this item, I did not know how to properly take care of silk and would throw it into the washer with other bedclothes. Despite this, that first pillowcase lasted 3 years which, at this affordable price, I am more than happy. Now, I hand wash my silk pillowcases in a sink of lukewarm water with a capful of shampoo and white vinegar (to maintain the vibrant colors) and folding motion to wash (do not squeeze or wring). I let it sit for 15 min in there, then rinse in cold water until there are no more suds. Roll in a towel to dry (look it up) and air dry the rest of the way. These still pillowcases still look brand new, smell delightful, and keep me looking young and feeling cool at night. Highly recommend.
