It is not very heavy but I can use a blanket under it. I love it! I may buy one for the beach 😎 I also bought the teal pillows covers and inserts on Amazon.

Content: This bed cover with shams is very lightweight, but it is absolutely beautiful. I had a beachy comforter on my bed and changed it to this one and was amazed how much it brightened up the room. Gorgeous and so affordable. Highly recommend!!!

Content: It is a cute pattern and lightweight however there's something about the look that reminds me of cheap bedspreads in a dusty old motel room at the beach. It's not my favorite coverlet but it was economically priced so there's that. I think it's the pink in it that I hate. You barely see pink in the photo on Amazon but in person it's like a bubble gum pink. Yuck.

Content: This is a beautiful design and the colors are nice and vivid. The price is not too bad. I do have cons: ultra thin and has no padding. I will keep because I reside in South Florida however, if I lived up North, I'd return it. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase.
