Content: I received this bedspread yesterday and the color is a VERY bright yellow, not a soft yellow as the picture shows. I thought about washing it to see if it would tone down the color, but saw in other reviews that it retains the color after several washings. If you're looking for a soft yellow, this isn't for you. Quality appears to be good and the guilting and scalloped edges are very pretty. Due to the color I am in the process of returning it.

Content: I have now owned this bedspread set for over 6 months. After 6 months of use, including laundering several times, and dog and cat on it, it still looks like the day I took it out of the package. (My photo doesn't pick up the color very well as our room doesn't have much light. In reality, it is a little brighter than the color in the ad.) It lays very nicely on the bed - although the sides only come halfway down (2nd pic) unlike the foot of the bed, which extends to the floor. It is soft and lightweight, though it still can offer warmth against a chilly morning. To me, this was well worth the $101 I paid for it.
