It's heavy enough to allow me to comfortably sleep in the sub-arctic temps my husband requires for a good night's sleep. The ruffles act as a fidget toy for me as I'm trying to fall asleep. It's absolutely beautiful, with a wide variety of colors to ensure it coordinates with just about any color of decor I might decide on in the future. The only downside I can think of is that I haven't been able to find the matching shams for king size pillows - they only appear to sell them for standard pillows 🤷♀️ Other than that, it's the Mary Poppins of quilts - practically perfect in every way.

I have a queen bed but ordered the king quilt so it would come down lower on each side. I did turn it around so the longest length would be on the sides. I did buy 3 standard shams as they didn't offer King size which I prefer & I was really disappointed that they didn't come with the quilt as most quilts do. I'm just using 1 sham as I thought my other white shams & throw pillows look good with it as I have a white bed skirt already on the bed. It seems well made & is not too heavy....just right. If you like this look .... buy it! I love mine.
