This could be temporarily "fixed" by pressing on the main connector -- implying a cold solder joint. Unfortunately, the unit is fully potted in epoxy, so repairs aren't possible. Full replacement is the only choice. This is an exact replacement part for my fireplace and it immediately restored full functionality to my unit.
