Title: Solid purchase…..
Content: Although I checked the dimensions before purchasing, the filler was less dense than expected. Will need to order another to ensure a tighter fit. The adhesive works well even when making adjustments. Because of the lighter color, it was important to ensure the insulation was fully tucked.

Title: Good self sticking Insulation
Content: I was looking for this item locally but the stores did not have it. This was ideal. It has a width of about 1.5 inches. The adhesive does stick to anything and that is what I wanted. The fiberglass wool strip does not fall apart and it a little more than an inch thick. I placed the strips of fiberglass wool on the fireplace metal frame and pushed the frame with the doors onto the brick structure. I sealed the frame to the brick with high heat clear silicone sealer which was available online. It tolerates heat to 500 degrees. No smoke leaks out into the home. I also put in a new damper which I found at Amazon.com and it came in caste iron for the exact size of the original. It slipped into the slot in less than a minute and it has been working fine since weeks. As an after thought, I should mention that I bolted the frame back into the fireplace opening with the old bolts into the same holes. The silicone sealer was just for good measure and I do not like smoke coming into the house.

Title: Works as expected
Content: Installed easy and reduced the draft between our fireplace doors and the brick to almost nothing.

Title: Works ok
Content: Works ok but will easily tear apart when pulling adhesive cover off.

Title: Work well
Content: Use to get some smoke from behind the door frame. Easy to install. Take off the tape and stick it to the wall and your are DONE. Only gotcha for you all when sticking this make sure you keep in mind that you stick it to the wall based on the outline of the Door. If you simply stick it to the wall and put the door on top of it only to find out it is sticking outside of the door frame and i have to cut it.

Title: Completely Worthless
Content: I bought this previously to seal in a fireplace insert wood stove. I was not impressed with any of its qualities but this second time, several years later, and the product is now completely worthless. As others now note, it does not stick to clean dry surfaces. And even worse, the insulation is so poorly constructed that it falls apart under its own weight. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
