Title: Excellent quality and long lasting gaskets
Content: I have used Rutland brand gaskets on Wood stoves, Pellet Stoves and Big Green Egg cookers and I do not bother with other brands. Great price for the superior quality. The key to using any of the Rutland gaskets is to make sure you do not pull the gasket tight as you are installing it in the groove. The way these are made with the weave, you want to push the gasket back from where you're feeding it from. Kind of like bunching it in on itself. That way when you are done installing it, the door has a firm feel to it when latching it. You're not bunching it real tight and you will see when installing it that the gasket keeps its diameter of the size indicated on the package. This style of round 3/8" gasket worked perfect for my Harman Pellet stove door. I did not have any issues with the high temp silicone like some other users have mentioned. I usually put about a 1/4" bead of this all along the groove on wood or pellet stove doors. You want to make sure the surface is down to bare metal. This is easily done with a drill motor and small wire wheel.

Title: Be prepaired to deal with it ! But works great. Glue will clean up with warm water.
Content: The gasket is great, the "Black Graphite" one is better to me than the "white" it seems to not stick to the door as much when the door is closed & not in use for a time. With the white, after sitting & not in use for a time the door would stick to the gasket & actually pulled some of it off once, the graphite in the Grapho-Glas seems to help that. As others have written however, the glue is very stiff, I immersed it in hot water for about 20-30 minutes & kneaded for about 5 minutes (Knead it more than I did!) but still is stiff so as you're squeezing fairly hard to dispense it along the area it will come to an air pocket & "Pop" blowing the stuff out of the channel then you will need some disposable tools like break or cut some popsicle sticks in half and use the flat side to get the glue back into channel. I had it on my hands my screwdrivers all my rags & the door. The glue does clean up well with warm water, the towel used will be history however. Be sure to get it off the door, close & latch the door then open & look for traces of the glue on the door & get it off, do this a few times until sure it's not transferring. You will want to close & latch the door to set the gasket well & tight into the glue, after about 15-20 minutes the glue will set & can be scrapped of with knife or putty knife. Just don't let the door get glued to the front of the gasket. worked out great & would use it again when needed.

Title: Read the instructions on the adhesive CAREFULLY
Content: Easy to fit (just make sure you wear gloves and knead the adhesive tube for 2 minutes to smooth out the lumps and push out the air bubbles) and looks better than the old white asbestos type rope

Title: Lots of gasket, lots of cement.
Content: No instructions, but YouTube has several. Seems high-quality, and there was cement left over. Took me more time to remove the old one and scrape out the glue than it did to put the new one in.
