Title: Easy to install and works perfect!
Content: The media could not be loaded. ------ why i was looking for this product----- I live on campus in an apartment right by some frat and sorority houses. I underestimated how loud they would get on the weekends and even the middle of the week. I thought I'd get a head start before they all come back from winter break to make some changes to avoid some of their nuisances; one of these being the lights. The street lights are on anyway, but when they party the lights from their buildings and leds shine into my window. I live in the basement part of my complex so my window is high up and there's really no way to completey block the light. The cops also come very often because of underage drinking, noise, or just general problems that go on during their parties. So I also have to deal with the bright cop lights . ---- why this?----- I saw this product during my search for a curtain. Im not allowed to drill holes or even use adhesive or tape here, but we use command strips anyway. I was going to get adhesive curtain rod holders, a curtain, and a rod, but there's not much space or flat area to place it on my windows. It's also above my bed and I didn't want to get wacked in the head if it happened to fall. This product looked easy to place, was affordable, and looked like an actual black out curtain. ---- application---- It was super easy to install. I didn't have fabric scissors but my regular cheap scissors worked fine to cut this. My scissors glided smoothly during the cuts. I will note that I didn't notice one of the rods was bigger than the others, so I taped two together. I was about to tape the 3rd when i realized it just slides in. So i took the tape off and just slid the two smaller ones into the bigger one. The velcro was very easy to install and sticks great! I was worried it wouldnt stick well on my window because 1) the wall is cold from the snow, and 2) there's no flat space. It wasn't a problem and the curtain adhered just fine. ----- use ----- The clips work perfectly for holding the curtain when you roll it up. The light is completely blacked out. I included a video to compare my two windows. I only bought 1 to test it but now that I know what a great product it is, I'll be ordering a 2nd one for my other window. I got this one on sale for $13 but it was originally $19. Either way, the value matches the price, and its a great solution for anyone looking for a cheap but quality fix to light blockage.

Content: My husband has a crazy work schedule and some nights he doesn’t get home until 4AM. We have light colored bedroom curtains that I love and I’m not wanting to change. And the room gets so bright that he can barely sleep once daylight hits. So we were looking at maybe hanging some darker curtains behind the bedroom curtains to darken the room a bit. Or maybe new blinds but we have a very wide bedroom window and would need custom blinds. I found this cheaper hack and I thought I would give it a shot. I bought two panels and we got them hung up in less than 10 minutes. Turns out we need one more panel but I have already ordered it. What a difference already! They aren’t pretty so I don’t know that I would make them my main window covering. But they definitely are serving their purpose. Much easier than hanging another curtain rod and more curtains! I was worried because someone commented that the Velcro was coming off the wall but I’m here to tell you that the backing to the Velcro is VERY STICKY! So we had no issues. Very happy with my purchase.

Content: Last update… So I’ve had it with this! Just keeps falling. I even stapled the velcro to the inside of the window so now the shade is unsticking itself from the other piece of velcro. I think if there was better adhesive it would work. Like I said below it’s goopy. If it touches anything like the fabric when it falls it’ll leave a sticky spot. The only other solution is to sew on the other piece of velcro to the material so now I’m at the point if I have to do all this work I might as well make my own. Update… So a couple of hours after my review the shade started to come unstuck from the window and the velcro strip was a little off like slid out of place on the shade side. It is super sticky but perhaps to goopy like so it slides and then falls off. I’ll figure out a solution. Possibly tack it since it can’t be seen anyways. 2 hours earlier…So I did expect a little more in quality because of the price but I am really pleased with it. I already have wood blinds in my window and needed something behind it to block out the light to sleep and cut out some draft when cold. It’s great for my need. It’s a simple piece of material with a black backing, a strip of velcro to mount it, and two clips to keep it rolled up. Simple! My only hope is that if it’s two layers of material they stay together in the future unless maybe it’s a coating on the back. Hard to tell. It’s very easy to roll up by hand. Ideally it would be nice to have a string but I’m fine with it. I wanted something simple without bulk and without worry of some mechanical failure in the future like roller shades happen to me all the time. It’s really easy to let down. I’m only using one clip, it works just fine. For me it was worth the purchase.

Content: Let me just start by saying these are extremely cheap “blinds.” As another review said, they are a bit thicker than a trash bag. It is simply a piece of fabric that you use double sided tape to stick to your wall, then put in some pieces of plastic tubing at the bottom so that you can roll it up a bit easier. It’s held in place by clips. With that being said, they do keep the light out and they are easy to install. I got mine for about $10 and for that price they are great for an apartment or a room where you don’t care about aesthetics.

Trae 3 tubitos de plástico que prácticamente no funcionan y 2 ganchos..uno llegó roto, probablemente por el empaque tan sencillo en el que venía. El velcro con sólo tocarlo se pegostea en las manos por lo que no lo utilizaré. Un producto de muy baja calidad... pero intentaré usar la tela en alguna ventana que no se vea mucho, pegandola con cinta doblecara.
