Title: Love these blinds
Content: I had heavy, wood blinds before that were really hard to raise and lower. I wanted something that was stylish and easy to use. I found these blinds - there were several different colors and kinds to choose from. I selected ones that were blackout. They are really elegant looking and well made. They’re great for privacy at night and to eliminate the bright winter sun in Arizona. I gave them a 5 for sheerness because they were listed as blackout and they are tightly woven, so are blackout. For inside the window frame installation, you need to give them the exact side of the opening. They will adjust the size - mine were perfect with just enough gap to fit in place. I gave them 4 stars for installation because the original screws used to put up the brackets were quite flimsy - I replaced them with more sturdy ones. The design is so simple - 2 L brackets with posts, blinds that have slots (so you can make minor side to side adjustments), and wing nuts. It would be easier if 2 people were putting them up - I did this alone. I struggled a little with holding the shades with one hand, getting both ends securely in the posts on the brackets and screwing the wing nuts in the first side. But it got easier after I figured out the first one. They are a breeze to open and close and work exactly as described. No cords or strings to deal with, just push them up and pull them down. I highly recommend these - love them.

Content: Wow, these are just gorgeous! I had been thinking of installing these a couple of years ago but we have a LOT of windows and doing just one room was in the thousands. I didn't give up though, and continued to check Amazon every so often and found these. I ordered a set for our bay windows in the bedroom to try them out. They did not disappoint. The Rustic Walnut is a nice, rich medium brown. Packaging: Well packaged/protected with little waste and mostly recyclable cardboard. All of the fasteners were in little bags (you will need a drill and screwdriver of course) Installation: Really easy. The narrower shades I did myself, though it required some extra powers of dexterity to hold the wing, nut, and shade in the right spot, then twist. I'm guessing the larger one will require a second person to hold the heavier, clunkier blind. Size/Measure: I provided the actual window opening for an inside mount as suggested and they were pretty tight. So if your windows are between increments, go smaller. Open-close: This is cordless, which I really like, and a little surprising at this price point. You just push up and they stay where you stop pushing, pull down to close. The mechanism is not as smooth as some of my other blinds, but they work so far. Be warned (not the product): Now, I did encounter an issue. I "ordered" a 70x60 inch for the center window. I measured several times, was careful in my selection when adding them to my basket (I even read them aloud to my husband) and was really bummed to receive 60x60. I checked my order and sure enough, 60x60 ordered! WARNING: I started a return and reordered the correct size, plus more of these for my living room windows which are exactly the same sizes. To my amazement, I clicked on the desired size (this time, 69.5x60) which would then "highlight" and also show the correct size under the product picture, but when I went to my cart, lo and behold, there was the 60x60 again! This happened close to ten times!!! I left the particular product page (I pulled it from the previous order and changed the size), and found the same blind/seller under a different color. I chose the Walnut and then the size and this DID go into my cart as 69.5x60. So please be careful, check that what's in your cart is really the size you selected. Since these take a couple of weeks to arrive and return shipping is NOT free (can't wait to find out how much that will be), it's a giant pain you can easily avoid. Had I been able to use all three of the blinds, I would have included better pictures, but I thought it would still be helpful. UPDATE 5/25/2023 I purchased another set of three for my living room windows and also replaced the incorrect size for the original windows. This time I ordered 1/2 narrower since some were tight last time. Oddly, these were also a little tight. DI was able to shove them and they go up and down, so I'm keeping them. I ended up keeping the 60x60 blind that was ordered due to a technical error as it was really inconvenient to take them to a store and it was almost $30. I ended up donating them instead. I was a little disappointed that the seller didn't offer any sort of accommodation, but it was something to do with Google so I have to deal with it. ANYWAY, the blinds are just beautiful and I will be buying more still. They add a bit of warmth and soften the harsher sunlight. I haven't used them much for this, so I can't speak to the durability of the mechanism that opens and closes the blinds. I have had a lot of compliments and have shared my secret with everyone.
