Title: A desk that will last as long as it needs too.
Content: We love most things Melissa and Doug because of their quality but this desk was just so cute. It was perfect for our 5 year old daughter. We loved that you could store things under the desk top and surprisingly this was a super easy build. Definitely worth the purchase. It was a good heavy weight wood and felt like pottery barn quality.

Title: Absolutely Perfect - Easy Assembly
Content: This desk is perfect. My girls are average size 3 & 4 years old and the desk is a perfect fit. I see at least 2 years of use. The assembly was a breeze. The desks are made of quality materials. They wipe off nicely keeping crayon or other marks from becoming permanent. I love the flip up storage area the girls keep their special projects in there. And the groove to hold pencils from rolling away or other items on the desktop is handy. I reconcile recommend this desk.

Title: Great alternative to the plastic art desks
Content: I was having problems finding an art desk for my 3 yr old that would ship to my Apo location when I ran across this gem. Overall a well made product however I have a few comments that may be helpful. Definitely keep rubbing alchohol handy. My daughter constantly writes on the surface with washable crayons and markers. Water removes most of the stains, however I use alcohol swabs to remove the remaining stains. Cleaners such as 409 do not work well on this product. Another thing to be made aware of is the screw placement in the back right hand corner in the inside of the desk. I would suggest using your hand to tighten then you will need a long screwdriver. The spring to the desk top is extremely close to the screw and is a little tricky to tighten. This was the only issue I ran into while assembling. The hight and overall size is perfect for a 3 yr old and up. My daughter uses it for homework, painting, watching iPad etc . The top is also kid friendly which is great. There are also slits to slide their fingers in to open.

Title: Great desk - difficult chair assembly
Content: This is a super cute desk and works perfectly in my sons room. The desk went together super easily. The chair was another story. One side of the chair would not align properly with the base. My husband and I both struggled with it. My husband eventually got it together, but ended up cracking part of the seat of the chair in the process. The damage is only cosmetic and the chair is still safe and sturdy.

Title: This desk was easy to put together and seems to be good quality
Content: This desk was easy to put together and seems to be good quality. I love that the top lifts up so that we can store away the many papers that my daughter hasn't finished yet. I first looked at some desks that had drawers, but they were all much larger. This fits better in the space we have, but it still has decent storage. I also like that there is a section at the back of the desk that does not lift up so that you can store items there. It took some measuring and searching, but I found some containers that fit along the back to hold her markers and crayons. For reference the back non-lifting section is around 21.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep (3.25 inches to the hinge in two places). I bought three organizers to put along the back to hold her markers and crayons. Two of these organizers for her pip squeak markers and crayons: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00932UTGQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 One of these organizers for her taller markers: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VSBOVL4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Title: Horrible Experience
Content: I bought this product for my kid and went to assemble it to ight on Christmas Eve so he can come out to see it next to the tree Christmas Day. Btw, I used to build / install machines for automation so I have a high skill level when it comes to building anything. 1st: I noticed the quality was average to below average at first glance after seeing chips in the wood that were just painted over instead of fixing. 2nd: I began building the chair to notice I didn't have enough of the nut inserts to fully put it together. It called for 6, the packaging said 6 we're there but I only received 4. So no chair for him Christmas morning. 3rd: I started putting together the desk and immediately noticed that the nut inserts were just painted over without any plugs so now there is paint in the threads which makes it very difficult to start the bolts and has a higher chance of cross-threading if you aren't careful. I had to re-tap the nuts to remove the paint before installing the legs. 4th: The arm that holds the desk gets locked when rises the desk up fully and causes it to lock in the wrong direction, making it impossible to close the lid without pulling the arm at the same time. My kid will not know how to do that at this age (18 months). I have included a picture of some of the poor craftsmanship put into these desks.

Content: Super cute desk, I use the word cute because it’s not very big. My daughter is seven (tiny for her age -40 ish lbs) and though she fits it she will lowly need to get something bigger sooner than later. Really well built and I have a feeling it will last forever it will definitely get passed to baby brother and possibly even other younger cousins because I just think it will last that long. Timeless design and color, my kids love the light top action and store just about a thing they can inside. Super easy to put together.

Title: Nicely made desk
Content: Super cute desk, I use the word cute because it’s not very big. My daughter is seven (tiny for her age -40 ish lbs) and though she fits it she will lowly need to get something bigger sooner than later. Really well built and I have a feeling it will last forever it will definitely get passed to baby brother and possibly even other younger cousins because I just think it will last that long. Timeless design and color, my kids love the light top action and store just about a thing they can inside. Super easy to put together.
