I look at the O-ring, and unsure about being able to dig it out of the groove without harm. Somehow I stumble on the O-ring (Grohe 01224000 Spring O-Ring) on Amazon. Very expensive, but what's the alternative: get a plumber to install the hose Grohe sent me. So, I research it and see it on the Grohe site. They don't sell it, but they do give a link to the Amazon listing. That gives me confidence that it's a legitimate part. (Note: I'll write a review of that part separately.) I don't have anything to pry off the old one and not sure about just jamming a nail in there to pry it off. I detour and buy a tool set of removers figuring I can use it for other things at some point. Now I have all that I need.
