Title: So happy that our 25 year old Grohe faucet is like new again.
Content: 25 years with no maintenance needed along the way, but the original head/hose started to leak when being extended. After reading all of the reviews of people being pleased with quality of the original replacement parts, and ease of doing the replacements themselves, I decided to give it a try myself too. I've never attempted any plumbing repair myself, but didn't feel like on top of all that paying someone almost as much as the replacement head and hose cost to install these parts. In some ways it was actually as easy as others here made it sound to do yourself. I took my time and was very careful all along the way, so 10-15 minutes is unrealistic in my case -- it was closer to 1 1/2 hours. The steps I was expecting to be easiest actually turned out to be the most difficult. The steps that many pointed out as difficult -- like removing the old flexible hose through the inside of the fixture, and feeding the new hose back down through it -- were very easy for me. Also, that step didn't require taking off the top curved arm of the fixture at all, like some of people's instructions suggested to make the hose steps easier. What I had the most trouble with was getting the yellow clip-connector on the end of the flexible hose to disconnect from the water line. Perhaps because it had been connected for 25 years and fused itself somehow. Anyway, it eventually did come loose, didn't break or crack, unscrewed from the old hose, went back onto the new hose, and connected back to the water line just fine. I used the little flat washer that came with the new flexible hose, inside the yellow clip-connector. Even though there didn't seem to be an old washer there when I took the old hose off of the yellow clip-connector. As for the install of this specific black spray head part, all of the instructions both within these reviews, and provided by Grohe were all ambiguous at best. This replacement part came with a small envelope containing an O-ring, a little white plastic cartridge thing, a little yellow plastic cartridge thing, and a paper diagram showing three totally different pull-out head styles. The top diagram happened to be this one. Looking at the diagram, and at my old spray-head, I determined that one of those little plastic cartridge things needed to be shoved down inside the new spray head. I chose the white one because my original had a white one, and I figured that the yellow "green environment version" would restrict water flow too much. It was easy to figure out which direction that part needed to be inserted based on what direction the old part had been (the two ends of that part look totally different.) To me, on the Grohe diagram included, it didn't show the O-ring being used with this spray-head. The O-ring was shown on one of the other diagrams for a totally different spray-head. I didn't see anywhere that it would go, or be needed in my case -- so I didn't use the provided O-ring. Perhaps if I had been putting this replacement spray-head back onto an older flex-hose, the old hose would need a new O-ring? But the new flex-hose already had an O-ring on the end that screws into the spray-head. Nothing leaked when I turned the water back on. So, I would say don't believe the reviews claiming you need to also purchase an O-ring for this. If you get the official Grohe spray-head, and official flex-hose, they seem to come with everything you need--plus a couple spare parts with this spray-head that don't seem to be needed depending if you are also replacing the flex-hose or not. We're extremely happy with this replacement, and it makes our 25 year old Grohe sink fixture, look and work like brand new again. That I was able to replace it all by myself makes it even more satisfying.

Content: I ordered this Saturday evening and it arrived on Monday morning. It was packaged very well with no damage to the exterior box and the interior box was intact and like new. It came with more parts than needed for the replacement, I'm guessing so the replacement will fit any application seamlessly and it was a seamless and simple install. Took my husband less time to replace than it did to wonder what all the little extra doodads were for. It looks great and now sprays like it was brand new. It is plastic, but so was the old one. It looks exactly like the old one, but brand new. So nice to have our faucet working and not have to hang on to the button in order to get a constant spray. It sprays and stays on spray until you turn off the faucet or switch over to the regular mode. This was $97 well spent in not having to crawl under the sink and do a full faucet replacement and still feel like you did a full faucet replacement. SO HAPPY!

I actually like the look better and think it will stay nicer looking longer. Went on easy and works like new. We’ll see how it holds up. Not cheap but neither was the faucet. Very satisfied.

But I was really so very glad that I read the customer reviews before buying this sprayhead two days ago -- those extremely helpful reviews alerted me to the poor installation instructions, the confusing aerator parts, and the need for either a larger O-ring or ample silicone thread tape to compensate for a slight enlargement in the end of the sprayhead that attaches to the hose to avoid sneaky leaking that really isn't at all obvious since it pools silently and unseen under the sink and counter. Those reviewers were godsends and made all the difference in doing this repair right and in only five minutes or so. Amazon is fortunate to have such reliable and responsible customers. As for the sprayhead itself, other than its microscopically larger end that fits flush with the hose end section, it is virtually indistinguishable from to the original that came when we purchased and installed this unit nearly seventeen years ago. So we're still very happy with the Grohe engineering, manufacturing quality, and solid metal construction and with this equally good replacement part. That's rather unusual these days. All things considered, this was a prudent and successful purchase. And saved hundreds over hiring a plumber to install an entirely new faucet unit that probably would not have been as good as the original, which was quite well made. So thanks!

So I ordered this new sprayer, replaced it 3 weeks ago and it works just fine. I read all reviews and replaced washer as advised (used the washer included in the package) and - no leaks. Thanks to the reviews I was prepared for no instructions and to be sure to replace the washer. The reviews from several years ago with a couple of people having leaks because the wrong washer was supplied must have been addressed be Ghohe or those washers were not the right ones because it works now in 2017.

After reading all of the reviews of people being pleased with quality of the original replacement parts, and ease of doing the replacements themselves, I decided to give it a try myself too. I've never attempted any plumbing repair myself, but didn't feel like on top of all that paying someone almost as much as the replacement head and hose cost to install these parts. In some ways it was actually as easy as others here made it sound to do yourself. I took my time and was very careful all along the way, so 10-15 minutes is unrealistic in my case -- it was closer to 1 1/2 hours. I used the little flat washer that came with the new flexible hose, inside the yellow clip-connector. Even though there didn't seem to be an old washer there when I took the old hose off of the yellow clip-connector. As for the install of this specific black spray head part, all of the instructions both within these reviews, and provided by Grohe were all ambiguous at best. This replacement part came with a small envelope containing an O-ring, a little white plastic cartridge thing, a little yellow plastic cartridge thing, and a paper diagram showing three totally different pull-out head styles. The top diagram happened to be this one. Looking at the diagram, and at my old spray-head, I determined that one of those little plastic cartridge things needed to be shoved down inside the new spray head. I chose the white one because my original had a white one, and I figured that the yellow "green environment version" would restrict water flow too much. It was easy to figure out which direction that part needed to be inserted based on what direction the old part had been (the two ends of that part look totally different.) To me, on the Grohe diagram included, it didn't show the O-ring being used with this spray-head. The O-ring was shown on one of the other diagrams for a totally different spray-head. I didn't see anywhere that it would go, or be needed in my case -- so I didn't use the provided O-ring. Perhaps if I had been putting this replacement spray-head back onto an older flex-hose, the old hose would need a new O-ring? But the new flex-hose already had an O-ring on the end that screws into the spray-head. Nothing leaked when I turned the water back on. So, I would say don't believe the reviews claiming you need to also purchase an O-ring for this. If you get the official Grohe spray-head, and official flex-hose, they seem to come with everything you need--plus a couple spare parts with this spray-head that don't seem to be needed depending if you are also replacing the flex-hose or not. We're extremely happy with this replacement, and it makes our 25 year old Grohe sink fixture, look and work like brand new again. That I was able to replace it all by myself makes it even more satisfying.

Content: I ordered this Saturday evening and it arrived on Monday morning. It was packaged very well with no damage to the exterior box and the interior box was intact and like new. It came with more parts than needed for the replacement, I'm guessing so the replacement will fit any application seamlessly and it was a seamless and simple install. Took my husband less time to replace than it did to wonder what all the little extra doodads were for. It looks great and now sprays like it was brand new. It is plastic, but so was the old one. It looks exactly like the old one, but brand new. So nice to have our faucet working and not have to hang on to the button in order to get a constant spray. It sprays and stays on spray until you turn off the faucet or switch over to the regular mode. This was $97 well spent in not having to crawl under the sink and do a full faucet replacement and still feel like you did a full faucet replacement. SO HAPPY!

I actually like the look better and think it will stay nicer looking longer. Went on easy and works like new. We’ll see how it holds up. Not cheap but neither was the faucet. Very satisfied.

But I was really so very glad that I read the customer reviews before buying this sprayhead two days ago -- those extremely helpful reviews alerted me to the poor installation instructions, the confusing aerator parts, and the need for either a larger O-ring or ample silicone thread tape to compensate for a slight enlargement in the end of the sprayhead that attaches to the hose to avoid sneaky leaking that really isn't at all obvious since it pools silently and unseen under the sink and counter. Those reviewers were godsends and made all the difference in doing this repair right and in only five minutes or so. Amazon is fortunate to have such reliable and responsible customers. As for the sprayhead itself, other than its microscopically larger end that fits flush with the hose end section, it is virtually indistinguishable from to the original that came when we purchased and installed this unit nearly seventeen years ago. So we're still very happy with the Grohe engineering, manufacturing quality, and solid metal construction and with this equally good replacement part. That's rather unusual these days. All things considered, this was a prudent and successful purchase. And saved hundreds over hiring a plumber to install an entirely new faucet unit that probably would not have been as good as the original, which was quite well made. So thanks!

Content: 25 years with no maintenance needed along the way, but the original head/hose started to leak when being extended. After reading all of the reviews of people being pleased with quality of the original replacement parts, and ease of doing the replacements themselves, I decided to give it a try myself too. I've never attempted any plumbing repair myself, but didn't feel like on top of all that paying someone almost as much as the replacement head and hose cost to install these parts. In some ways it was actually as easy as others here made it sound to do yourself. I took my time and was very careful all along the way, so 10-15 minutes is unrealistic in my case -- it was closer to 1 1/2 hours. The steps I was expecting to be easiest actually turned out to be the most difficult. The steps that many pointed out as difficult -- like removing the old flexible hose through the inside of the fixture, and feeding the new hose back down through it -- were very easy for me. Also, that step didn't require taking off the top curved arm of the fixture at all, like some of people's instructions suggested to make the hose steps easier. What I had the most trouble with was getting the yellow clip-connector on the end of the flexible hose to disconnect from the water line. Perhaps because it had been connected for 25 years and fused itself somehow. Anyway, it eventually did come loose, didn't break or crack, unscrewed from the old hose, went back onto the new hose, and connected back to the water line just fine. I used the little flat washer that came with the new flexible hose, inside the yellow clip-connector. Even though there didn't seem to be an old washer there when I took the old hose off of the yellow clip-connector. As for the install of this specific black spray head part, all of the instructions both within these reviews, and provided by Grohe were all ambiguous at best. This replacement part came with a small envelope containing an O-ring, a little white plastic cartridge thing, a little yellow plastic cartridge thing, and a paper diagram showing three totally different pull-out head styles. The top diagram happened to be this one. Looking at the diagram, and at my old spray-head, I determined that one of those little plastic cartridge things needed to be shoved down inside the new spray head. I chose the white one because my original had a white one, and I figured that the yellow "green environment version" would restrict water flow too much. It was easy to figure out which direction that part needed to be inserted based on what direction the old part had been (the two ends of that part look totally different.) To me, on the Grohe diagram included, it didn't show the O-ring being used with this spray-head. The O-ring was shown on one of the other diagrams for a totally different spray-head. I didn't see anywhere that it would go, or be needed in my case -- so I didn't use the provided O-ring. Perhaps if I had been putting this replacement spray-head back onto an older flex-hose, the old hose would need a new O-ring? But the new flex-hose already had an O-ring on the end that screws into the spray-head. Nothing leaked when I turned the water back on. So, I would say don't believe the reviews claiming you need to also purchase an O-ring for this. If you get the official Grohe spray-head, and official flex-hose, they seem to come with everything you need--plus a couple spare parts with this spray-head that don't seem to be needed depending if you are also replacing the flex-hose or not. We're extremely happy with this replacement, and it makes our 25 year old Grohe sink fixture, look and work like brand new again. That I was able to replace it all by myself makes it even more satisfying.

Content: I ordered this Saturday evening and it arrived on Monday morning. It was packaged very well with no damage to the exterior box and the interior box was intact and like new. It came with more parts than needed for the replacement, I'm guessing so the replacement will fit any application seamlessly and it was a seamless and simple install. Took my husband less time to replace than it did to wonder what all the little extra doodads were for. It looks great and now sprays like it was brand new. It is plastic, but so was the old one. It looks exactly like the old one, but brand new. So nice to have our faucet working and not have to hang on to the button in order to get a constant spray. It sprays and stays on spray until you turn off the faucet or switch over to the regular mode. This was $97 well spent in not having to crawl under the sink and do a full faucet replacement and still feel like you did a full faucet replacement. SO HAPPY!

I actually like the look better and think it will stay nicer looking longer. Went on easy and works like new. We’ll see how it holds up. Not cheap but neither was the faucet. Very satisfied.

But I was really so very glad that I read the customer reviews before buying this sprayhead two days ago -- those extremely helpful reviews alerted me to the poor installation instructions, the confusing aerator parts, and the need for either a larger O-ring or ample silicone thread tape to compensate for a slight enlargement in the end of the sprayhead that attaches to the hose to avoid sneaky leaking that really isn't at all obvious since it pools silently and unseen under the sink and counter. Those reviewers were godsends and made all the difference in doing this repair right and in only five minutes or so. Amazon is fortunate to have such reliable and responsible customers. As for the sprayhead itself, other than its microscopically larger end that fits flush with the hose end section, it is virtually indistinguishable from to the original that came when we purchased and installed this unit nearly seventeen years ago. So we're still very happy with the Grohe engineering, manufacturing quality, and solid metal construction and with this equally good replacement part. That's rather unusual these days. All things considered, this was a prudent and successful purchase. And saved hundreds over hiring a plumber to install an entirely new faucet unit that probably would not have been as good as the original, which was quite well made. So thanks!

So we're still very happy with the Grohe engineering, manufacturing quality, and solid metal construction and with this equally good replacement part. That's rather unusual these days. All things considered, this was a prudent and successful purchase. And saved hundreds over hiring a plumber to install an entirely new faucet unit that probably would not have been as good as the original, which was quite well made. So thanks!

So I ordered this new sprayer, replaced it 3 weeks ago and it works just fine. I read all reviews and replaced washer as advised (used the washer included in the package) and - no leaks. Thanks to the reviews I was prepared for no instructions and to be sure to replace the washer. The reviews from several years ago with a couple of people having leaks because the wrong washer was supplied must have been addressed be Ghohe or those washers were not the right ones because it works now in 2017.

Content: 25 years with no maintenance needed along the way, but the original head/hose started to leak when being extended. After reading all of the reviews of people being pleased with quality of the original replacement parts, and ease of doing the replacements themselves, I decided to give it a try myself too. I've never attempted any plumbing repair myself, but didn't feel like on top of all that paying someone almost as much as the replacement head and hose cost to install these parts. In some ways it was actually as easy as others here made it sound to do yourself. I took my time and was very careful all along the way, so 10-15 minutes is unrealistic in my case -- it was closer to 1 1/2 hours. The steps I was expecting to be easiest actually turned out to be the most difficult. The steps that many pointed out as difficult -- like removing the old flexible hose through the inside of the fixture, and feeding the new hose back down through it -- were very easy for me. Also, that step didn't require taking off the top curved arm of the fixture at all, like some of people's instructions suggested to make the hose steps easier. What I had the most trouble with was getting the yellow clip-connector on the end of the flexible hose to disconnect from the water line. Perhaps because it had been connected for 25 years and fused itself somehow. Anyway, it eventually did come loose, didn't break or crack, unscrewed from the old hose, went back onto the new hose, and connected back to the water line just fine. I used the little flat washer that came with the new flexible hose, inside the yellow clip-connector. Even though there didn't seem to be an old washer there when I took the old hose off of the yellow clip-connector. As for the install of this specific black spray head part, all of the instructions both within these reviews, and provided by Grohe were all ambiguous at best. This replacement part came with a small envelope containing an O-ring, a little white plastic cartridge thing, a little yellow plastic cartridge thing, and a paper diagram showing three totally different pull-out head styles. The top diagram happened to be this one. Looking at the diagram, and at my old spray-head, I determined that one of those little plastic cartridge things needed to be shoved down inside the new spray head. I chose the white one because my original had a white one, and I figured that the yellow "green environment version" would restrict water flow too much. It was easy to figure out which direction that part needed to be inserted based on what direction the old part had been (the two ends of that part look totally different.) To me, on the Grohe diagram included, it didn't show the O-ring being used with this spray-head. The O-ring was shown on one of the other diagrams for a totally different spray-head. I didn't see anywhere that it would go, or be needed in my case -- so I didn't use the provided O-ring. Perhaps if I had been putting this replacement spray-head back onto an older flex-hose, the old hose would need a new O-ring? But the new flex-hose already had an O-ring on the end that screws into the spray-head. Nothing leaked when I turned the water back on. So, I would say don't believe the reviews claiming you need to also purchase an O-ring for this. If you get the official Grohe spray-head, and official flex-hose, they seem to come with everything you need--plus a couple spare parts with this spray-head that don't seem to be needed depending if you are also replacing the flex-hose or not. We're extremely happy with this replacement, and it makes our 25 year old Grohe sink fixture, look and work like brand new again. That I was able to replace it all by myself makes it even more satisfying.

Content: I ordered this Saturday evening and it arrived on Monday morning. It was packaged very well with no damage to the exterior box and the interior box was intact and like new. It came with more parts than needed for the replacement, I'm guessing so the replacement will fit any application seamlessly and it was a seamless and simple install. Took my husband less time to replace than it did to wonder what all the little extra doodads were for. It looks great and now sprays like it was brand new. It is plastic, but so was the old one. It looks exactly like the old one, but brand new. So nice to have our faucet working and not have to hang on to the button in order to get a constant spray. It sprays and stays on spray until you turn off the faucet or switch over to the regular mode. This was $97 well spent in not having to crawl under the sink and do a full faucet replacement and still feel like you did a full faucet replacement. SO HAPPY!

Content: My old nozzle was pretty gnarly looking after 15 years and finally wouldn’t hold the spray function. Bought this replacement and it is a hard plastic versus the original softer rubber type. I actually like the look better and think it will stay nicer looking longer. Went on easy and works like new. We’ll see how it holds up. Not cheap but neither was the faucet. Very satisfied.

Content: This item was delivered within less than 24 hours for free [Prime member], safely packed and entirely unblemished in any way. Just can't beat Amazon service sometimes. But I was really so very glad that I read the customer reviews before buying this sprayhead two days ago -- those extremely helpful reviews alerted me to the poor installation instructions, the confusing aerator parts, and the need for either a larger O-ring or ample silicone thread tape to compensate for a slight enlargement in the end of the sprayhead that attaches to the hose to avoid sneaky leaking that really isn't at all obvious since it pools silently and unseen under the sink and counter. Those reviewers were godsends and made all the difference in doing this repair right and in only five minutes or so. Amazon is fortunate to have such reliable and responsible customers.
