Title: It's original replacement
Content: Replacing the faucet head is a pretty simple screw-off/screw-on exercise. I followed the advice of other reviewers and replaced the O-ring situated in a groove at the tip of the hose. Have to be careful if using a sharp pointed tool to pry off the old one or you'll be in the ER for stitches. I cut the middle of the O-ring to destroy it and then picked it out with tweezers. The new one slid on easily. Also, don't forget to insert the new strainer into the tip of the hose and press it into place. Then you're ready to line-up the tip with the inlet for the head and screw the hose cuff into the head. Make sure its snug and check under the sink to make sure there is no leak. My installation went without a problem.

Title: Buy the O ring too
Content: This is a more recent review since the faucet head no longer comes with loose parts. My Grohe faucet is the original one with the spring around the hose instead of the weight. I needed to replace both the faucet head and the hose. The plastic filter was seated in the faucet head when I took it out of the box and there were no loose parts. Thanks to the reviews here, I also purchased a new O ring. I first tested the new faucet head without replacing the O ring and found that it dripped a bit. I unscrewed the head, dropped in the new O ring, and that took care of the drip. The faucet head works perfectly and seats nicely in the old faucet. It’s not an exact duplicate and not made of the same materials as the original, but it does the trick if you don’t want to buy and install an entire new faucet. I didn’t. Yeah it’s expensive but the finish is a fairly good match. (I bought the Real Steel finish that is close enough to the faucet’s matte-like appearance.). Buy the Grohe O ring. And if you use the old spring on the hose, don’t let it get tangled, lol.

Title: Replacement for existing which lasted 18 years
Content: Easy to change out Thought it was chrome in the picture but was actually satin stainless so it doesn’t match the old faucet but it works great

Title: Works Flawlesly, Remember a New O-Ring
Content: Great replacement. I had a plumber called to fix the old one. He said it needed to be replaced and a new faucet of the same maker would be over $1,000. Found the replacement head for 95% less. Gave it a try, works and looks great! Super easy to install with no tools. Based on other reviews I also bought a new rubber O- Ring, even though mine looked ok. For $4 more it was not worth the potential aggravation if I guessed wrong. Only had a week, but so far very happy. Highly recommend.

Title: Back to that O Ring
Content: On the end of the retractable 3/8" coil steel hose/ spray head connection point (NOT on this new part you are buying) you will see a little rubber 1/4" or so O ring, after you unscrew and detach this hose from the old spray head. Looks fine right? NO! Looks can be deceiving! Even though it looks perfectly OK it needs to be removed and replaced with the O Ring Grohe makes (Part 01224000) and which is available for $7 on this Grohe spray head replacement Amazon website as an add-on. It must be purchased because whether you know it or not the old O Ring is worn out and will not seal the joint properly. Once you install the new O Ring by removing the old one with a very sharp pointed object like a knife end, and carefully slip the new O Ring over the hose end into the groove it is seated in, you will 'feel' the new O ring 'seal' the joint as you slip the sprayer head onto the end of the water hose. IMPORTANT! Failure to replace the O Ring will result in a leak at this joint that will not be immediately evident, as the water will leak down the hose and eventually pool under the sink out of sight! Believe me, I know, as I was awoken by my wife at 4am who, while starting her cleaning chores, noticed that a large pool of water had accumulated under all the stuff stored under the sink. Guess who she woke up to get it fixed!!!! Buy the O Ring and like another guy said be careful to keep the hose from slipping back into the faucet assembly as you replace the O Ring and sprayer head! Teflon plumber's tape wound around the old O Ring is no substitute for the new O Ring. I tried that on the old O ring and that did not help. By the way, the new sprayer head has a little cylindrical shaped strainer that is loose in the package. This little part slips into the sprayer head with the flat part facing towards the water supply hose and the pointed end towards the sprayer nozzle head.

Title: The right part
Content: I spent more and bought the quality German part after reading all the bad reviews of the Chinese ersatz part.

Title: Great water pressure and perfect fit
Content: My old faucet couldn’t move between the sprayer and just a stream of water. It was also not putting out much water. The new faucet is awesome! Within a minute, I had the old faucet removed and the new one installed. It fit on my 17 year old faucet. Just screwed off the old one and screwed on the new on. No tools needed. No plumbers tape needed either. I thought I would have to replace the entire faucet, but just needed to replace the head.

Title: Good replacement sprayer. Easy to install.
Content: The original sprayer lasted for14 years until the rubber wore out to switch between spry and full flow). The color is better than the original Grohe handle I had (matches the brushed nickel faucet well). Installation was straight forward (unscrew the holding flange and pull the sprayer off the hose). Clean it up, replace the O ring and done. Definitely get the O ring recommended. It needs that. Then push the sprayer back onto the hose (try not To let the hose retract into the faucet... otherwise you have to fish it out) screw the retaining flange back on, check for leaks and done. 5 minute job. There are YouTube videos out there as well. I’m happy with this. Much cheaper and easier to replace this one piece than the whole faucet.

Title: Make sure you buy real not clone
Content: I purchased a Grohe (like) faucet head which blew apart. Sent it back. Reordered the real Factory Grohe and works perfect. Buy the real thing and you will be happy. My bad for buying what I thought was the real thing. Clones are cheap imitations. Buy Amazon original parts!!

Title: Que es equipo original
Content: Lo que me gusto es que es equipo original así que solo tuve que quitar el viejo y poner el nuevo, lo que no me gusto el precio ya qué hay el mismo equipo solo que con diferente acabado y es mucho más barato creo que los costos deberían ser más similares
