Will order this product again if needing to have curtains inset inside window frames similar to what I use them for here.

It has been a convenient and attractive change! The rod is very sturdy in spite of the fact that it comes in sections. The sections do screw together very firmly, and the rod feels very secure. The only reason I marked the rating down one is because the description indicates that it’s spring loaded and the Instructions for installation follow that. It took some trial and error to figure out that instead of being spring loaded, the rod had to be twisted until there was enough pressure to hold it up in the opening. There was no springiness to it.. At any rate, I’m happy with it now.

Content: Had to redo the curtains in the living room. The old curtains were see-through and stained easily, when they were supposed to be made of a thick material. Changed direction and ordered these to hold sheer curtains inside the window frames. Very easy to install. Then installed blackout curtains on a rod across the top of the entire window area. The sheers work perfectly with this tension rod and the whole setup now works very well as room darkening when watching the television. It's now more like a movie room. The sheers that these hold in place perfectly allow for a lot of natural light to come through when the blackout curtains aren't pulled shut. Definitely a great buy. Especially when insetting curtains inside a window frame. They sit snug inside the frame and haven't fallen or slid down. Will order this product again if needing to have curtains inset inside window frames similar to what I use them for here.
