I liked that this was all silicone and if it falls, no danger of chipping marble. I don't use the hook so can't report on that, I like it just sitting where it is. Love that I could choose a color that was complimentary to my shower decor. The squeegee works better than the one before and easier to hold. I highly recommend.

In the primary bathroom, we have a built in bench and we didn't want stagnant water to collect on the top, so we use this product after every shower. The large wide blade makes quick work of the entire shower. We bought two, one for each bathroom shower. Does a great job on tile or glass. It does not make any squeaks when used and has a nice clean look. It has a soft rubberized coating all over, so no exposed metal to rust. Does not show any water spots. The only down side might be that the squeegee blade is not replaceable, but it seems to be durable and all one piece. This is not enough of an issue to negatively impact the product review. I use the metal suction hanging hook, and my only suggestion would be if this were matching white, instead of the cheap looking chrome. But, the suction device works great and holds if you tighten it. You only have to hold the hanging hook in the six o'clock position as you tighten the suctions screw. When I put in my glass shower door, I hope to use the white hanging hook instead. I could not fine a brushed nickel finish that I liked, and I am very glad that I found this all white solution, that fits the décor very well.

I'm puzzled because video reviews of the Gütewerk show it working flawlessly, leaving little to no residue. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience, though it seems others have had better luck with this product. I do not worry on children using it and risking damaging the shower base because they drop it or scratch glass door trims when using it. Up to now, I really appreciate the product. Work nice on shiny ceramic and perfectly on glass. Suction cup hook hold nicely on shiny ceramic. Make sure to remove the screw and domed cap prior fixing the suction cup; then place back the domed cap, the bracket and the nut to firmly push arround the suction cup for stable and long term fixation.
