With 4” tiles not every suction cup will stick due to the grout lines, but with 4” tiles there is plenty of smooth surface space for many suction cups to adhere. It has worked well for us, comfortable to stand on, and plenty of holes for the water to drain thru right away. After 2 weeks of use and always leaving it on the shower floors, there was no mildew underneath but decided to put it in the washing machine. It cleaned well and I put it back on the floor after cleaning the shower.
