Content: Is it perfect? No. But do I smell chlorine everytime I shower like I just left a pool? Not anymore! Content: My parents bought this at my request just a month ago, and it has changed my life! I’ve lived in the country with hard water, and have curly (2c-3b) hair. My hair seems to always be frizzy no matter how much money I spend on products! My scalp is always irritated, my ends breaking and dry (even though I use products like Ouai, Amika, and nice oils), and after moving back to the rural part of the Midwest, my hair hasn't been the same. This is easy to install, and comes with everything you need. My hair felt so soft after shampooing and conditioning in the shower, and without any product in it, it air dried better than it has in years. My second wash with this product was even better. My hair continues to get shinier, softer, less frizzy, and my ends are not dry. My scalp isn’t so dry and irritated between washes, and my ends aren’t breaking like crazy!! Content: This is a beautiful filter and pairs well with the recommended shower head. The water pressure is soft and is a nice change with the recommended shower head. I do feel a difference with the water and I notice my hair is much softer BUT i purchased the VERIFY water test kit on Amazon, tested the water and the results were exactly the same before and after the installation. I purchased this set up due to the test we did and to have the same results after was a bummer. But is the test wrong or does the filter do nothing…idk.

Content: I would love to do a hard water test on the spare bathroom shower and my master bath shower to see just how well this works. Amazon has hard water testing kits, I just haven’t ordered. We recently moved and I knew something was off about the water. It was almost like I felt dry and rough skinned after my shower (was using way more lotion than before) and my hair was also feeling a little more dry. I lived in a city before with hard water (which can tarnish blonde bleached hair btw) so I knew what to order. This is my second one, same brand. Easy to install. I recommend using the white plumbers tape it comes with! Dont skip this. Follow instructions on pamphlet. Although I don’t have the water test to confirm, I can attest that this helps! That dry rough feeling is gone. Win win!
