We seem to be overambitious in our abilities and our home projects are constantly over shadowed in bad luck and sometimes idiocy. We put these together VERY easily on the 1st try! This is the most quality curtain rod we have ever purchased, with the smallest features that make the biggest difference, and also happens to be the cheapest. I am astounded at the quality of these rods since the price caused me to expect something very cheap and maybe even flimsy. There were so many small touches that we would never have thought to look for, since we didn't know they existed, and were pleasantly surprised by. We have struggled through probably 30 curtain rods together over the years. Pros: -extremely customizable sizes -easy to follow directions -solid, weighty, knob ends - quality finish - doesn't feel or look cheap - WORKED GREAT WITH 1" CORNER CONNECTORS - We have windows in tight corners together of small to extremely large sizes. Finding premade corner curtain rods that would fit the size of 1 small and 1 sliding glass door sized window was impossible. Not only was it going to look strange, they were also super expensive. - wall bracket that holds rod up allows you to change the depth that the rod sticks out from the wall and turns from side to side, which is handy during curtain installs - extremely long lengths - end piece twists to lock and unlock, like a shower curtain rod, so that the length isn't changing constantly while trying to install, needing to be adjusted after the install Cons: None

The finish of the rod is really nice. The included drywall anchors are a bit small; you may want to use your own more robust solution if your situation doesn't allow going directly into studs. The mounting hardware allows you to adjust the rod offset from the wall by about +/- 2 inches. I rarely leave reviews, but this kit was a nice surprise so I wanted to give the company the props it deserves.
