As a last-ditch effort, I bought this slipcover and holy cow - the transformation is incredible. I think as long as your sofa has good bones, these will be a great fit. I got the Navy, which looks so expensive in person. The blue is inky and rich, and it's so soft to the touch. They wash great, and are easy to put on. There are some spots where there's bunching from excess fabric, but it's hidden pretty well. Overall, a fantastic purchase. I may even get another color.

Or SOFTENER Sheets. I will and do use alongside my wash, a capful of white vinegar placed in the "rinse" cup. You won't get a vinegary scent. You will have softer clothes or other materials. I use it for everything in my wash cycles with very good results. And let me say as I read reviews as well as I find them beneficial to me too! Someone asked if these are "waterproof." No, not perse meaning they don't have a coating to not absorb water/liquids.
