Content: My husband got this to use with a gas heater he was going to put in his shop, but the heater didn't work as anticipated. He tried this fan, and it seems to work very well so he is going to keep it for a different heater he plans to get in the near future.

Content: The media could not be loaded. 1. The fan fits fine, the issue is the entire heater unit fits flush to the wall, so how's it supposed to get airflow. (Solved below) 2. It says the "auto" function will kick the fan in at 114°... . I seriously doubt it kicks in that early.. I don't have a thermometer on it, but it's on quite a while before the auto function kicks it in. (However, it does also have the switch, so we just leave it on when in use. 3. I hope you placed yours by a recepticle, (luckily by chance I did) because the plug cord is about 4 ft! (About 2 feet once it passes the heater itself). 4. The fan itself works just "OK" for it's intended purpose. It blows the heat A BIT, where it's in front of. I don't think it's the fans fault like most people are complaining about.. it's mostly bad design by the engineer's of the heater unit. Problems solved: 1. I saw a guy on here built an entire air-box into his wall.... Well, needless to say, I doubt "joe or Sally homeowner" have the necessary skills, or prob tools, to do this themselves. Nor did I want to have a huge box cut into my wall in my dining room. (Wife would a killed me)... So.. simply cut a couple blocks of wood (or buy a couple pieces of whatever) and mount them between the wall, and the contact points of the heater (basically-spacers) to get the unit away from the wall a bit. Creates airflow, and no eyesore! 2. The fan volume issue, we mounted ours into our homes middle room (as to help evenly distribute the heat (hoping... In theory it should work right?) (Northeast PA, so we mostly have long continuous room homes here... Like a cracker-jack box on its side) however we didn't take into account how much heat went up the stairwell that's behind it. Needless to say, the upstairs is now blazing hot, and without a fan being counteractive or closing all the doors up there, we lose the heat for downstairs. This fan helped remedy that A BIT.. wanna save yourself about 10$ go to your local family dollar or whatever, buy a 20$ window fan, and set it on top the unit!!. Works great, and pushes the heat further into the room/house... Just be weary of your cord placement!! Wife already burned one up. Make sure it's BEHIND the units casing!!! 3. Pics should explain most of what Ive suggested here. 4. Still... All In all... Worth the money, works for what it is, and personally, for these heaters not to come with a blower fan ALREADY on it was ridiculous.. so kudos to this company for making one that fit so easily, nicely, and for a good price point! for the savings in heating oil, I'd buy 10!!!! 💯. 5. If you are using yours with the floor legs/stand, my issues may not even apply to you.... So DEFINITELY buy the fan if your hesitant!! But for wall mounted, these became issues after the installation of the heater, and later, the fan. 6. You should prob not be considering this particular one. Sorry.

Content: As others have mentioned in several reviews....the one I received also is defective with respect to the auto turn on. It simply doesn't work. The unit itself works with the manual on/off switch, but the auto sensor does not work.

When I first installed it, I noticed it was about 1/4 from the wall so I assumed that was the reason (Not enough room to pull in air to move) so I pulled the unit off the wall and built brackets that pulled it about an inch and a half away from the wall giving plenty of room to move air. Still nothing. Than I figured maybe automatic would be better so it's hot enough to tell a difference. Nothing can be done to make this fan move any air at all. Waste of time and money. I'm gonna keep it so I don't have a big negative hole in the back of my unit that has to be punched out to install the fan. I do not recommend buying this at all for any cost.....it's useless.

When I first installed it, I noticed it was about 1/4 from the wall so I assumed that was the reason (Not enough room to pull in air to move) so I pulled the unit off the wall and built brackets that pulled it about an inch and a half away from the wall giving plenty of room to move air. Still nothing. Than I figured maybe automatic would be better so it's hot enough to tell a difference. Nothing can be done to make this fan move any air at all. Waste of time and money. Content: The media could not be loaded. 1. The fan fits fine, the issue is the entire heater unit fits flush to the wall, so how's it supposed to get airflow. (Solved below) 2. It says the "auto" function will kick the fan in at 114°... . I seriously doubt it kicks in that early.. I don't have a thermometer on it, but it's on quite a while before the auto function kicks it in. (However, it does also have the switch, so we just leave it on when in use. 3. I hope you placed yours by a recepticle, (luckily by chance I did) because the plug cord is about 4 ft! (About 2 feet once it passes the heater itself). 4. The fan itself works just "OK" for it's intended purpose. It blows the heat A BIT, where it's in front of. I don't think it's the fans fault like most people are complaining about.. it's mostly bad design by the engineer's of the heater unit. Problems solved: 1. I saw a guy on here built an entire air-box into his wall.... Well, needless to say, I doubt "joe or Sally homeowner" have the necessary skills, or prob tools, to do this themselves. Nor did I want to have a huge box cut into my wall in my dining room. (Wife would a killed me)... So.. simply cut a couple blocks of wood (or buy a couple pieces of whatever) and mount them between the wall, and the contact points of the heater (basically-spacers) to get the unit away from the wall a bit. Creates airflow, and no eyesore! 2. The fan volume issue, we mounted ours into our homes middle room (as to help evenly distribute the heat (hoping... In theory it should work right?) Content: My husband got this to use with a gas heater he was going to put in his shop, but the heater didn't work as anticipated. He tried this fan, and it seems to work very well so he is going to keep it for a different heater he plans to get in the near future.

Content: The media could not be loaded. 1. The fan fits fine, the issue is the entire heater unit fits flush to the wall, so how's it supposed to get airflow. (Solved below) 2. It says the "auto" function will kick the fan in at 114°... . I seriously doubt it kicks in that early.. I don't have a thermometer on it, but it's on quite a while before the auto function kicks it in. (However, it does also have the switch, so we just leave it on when in use. 3. I hope you placed yours by a recepticle, (luckily by chance I did) because the plug cord is about 4 ft! (About 2 feet once it passes the heater itself). 4. The fan itself works just "OK" for it's intended purpose. It blows the heat A BIT, where it's in front of. I don't think it's the fans fault like most people are complaining about.. it's mostly bad design by the engineer's of the heater unit. Problems solved: 1. I saw a guy on here built an entire air-box into his wall.... Well, needless to say, I doubt "joe or Sally homeowner" have the necessary skills, or prob tools, to do this themselves. Nor did I want to have a huge box cut into my wall in my dining room. (Wife would a killed me)... So.. simply cut a couple blocks of wood (or buy a couple pieces of whatever) and mount them between the wall, and the contact points of the heater (basically-spacers) to get the unit away from the wall a bit. Creates airflow, and no eyesore! 2. The fan volume issue, we mounted ours into our homes middle room (as to help evenly distribute the heat (hoping... In theory it should work right?) (Northeast PA, so we mostly have long continuous room homes here... Like a cracker-jack box on its side) however we didn't take into account how much heat went up the stairwell that's behind it. Needless to say, the upstairs is now blazing hot, and without a fan being counteractive or closing all the doors up there, we lose the heat for downstairs. This fan helped remedy that A BIT.. wanna save yourself about 10$ go to your local family dollar or whatever, buy a 20$ window fan, and set it on top the unit!!. Works great, and pushes the heat further into the room/house... Just be weary of your cord placement!! Wife already burned one up. Make sure it's BEHIND the units casing!!! 3. Pics should explain most of what Ive suggested here. 4. Still... All In all... Worth the money, works for what it is, and personally, for these heaters not to come with a blower fan ALREADY on it was ridiculous.. so kudos to this company for making one that fit so easily, nicely, and for a good price point! for the savings in heating oil, I'd buy 10!!!! 💯. 5. If you are using yours with the floor legs/stand, my issues may not even apply to you.... So DEFINITELY buy the fan if your hesitant!! But for wall mounted, these became issues after the installation of the heater, and later, the fan. 6. As to the referenced noise level: it's a fan, it's gonna sound like a fan.. it's not overly loud, but you will hear it running... If your looking for a " 0 (zero) decibel, honed ball-bearing premium greased encased motor housing with dynamat made vibration noise blockers and Bluetooth island waterfall sounds or Amazon rainforest storm sounds that drown out and encapsulate the fan noise..... You should prob not be considering this particular one. Sorry.

Content: As others have mentioned in several reviews....the one I received also is defective with respect to the auto turn on. It simply doesn't work. The unit itself works with the manual on/off switch, but the auto sensor does not work.

Content: This doesn't move any air. When I first installed it, I noticed it was about 1/4 from the wall so I assumed that was the reason (Not enough room to pull in air to move) so I pulled the unit off the wall and built brackets that pulled it about an inch and a half away from the wall giving plenty of room to move air. Still nothing. Than I figured maybe automatic would be better so it's hot enough to tell a difference. Nothing can be done to make this fan move any air at all. Waste of time and money. I'm gonna keep it so I don't have a big negative hole in the back of my unit that has to be punched out to install the fan. I do not recommend buying this at all for any cost.....it's useless.
