Content: We were shocked at how well the rod went up in a 12 ft room. It's super stable all by itself but we put up the little stabilizers underneath on either end in case anyone should take a fall into the curtain. We held off on the ceiling hook that came with it for the middle of the rod. This is a seriously good curtain rod and holds an 8'x15' foot curtain like a champ.

I have about 6 heavy black out curtains thinking about adding 2 more curtains. pole very sturdy and adjustable up to 160’. Content: I need a rod to cover 10 feet or 120 inches. So my options were either the 83-122 inch, or the 122-150 inch. I bought the 122-150 inch to be sure. The instruction was conflicting. One part said to have the pole 2 inch longer than the gap; this would make the 83-122 inch workable. Another section state, "Warning: The rod length approx. 2.36 - 2.76 inches (6-7cm) longer than the opening to make sure the final length of the rod will fit solid." So will 2 inch enough or 2..36 to 2.76 inch? The 122-150 inch kit came with 4 sections: #1) one 43-63 inch adjustable, #2) one short 20 inch section, and #3) Two 39 inch sections. So for 120 inch, I could do 43-63 inch adjustable + 39 inch + 39 inch= 121 -141 inch. Or, 43-63 inch adjustable + 39 inch + 20 inch=102-122 inch. The spring is pretty strong past 2 inch. So I could have bought the 83-122 and save a few bucks.

Content: Rod has been in use for about 1 year with excellent results. In place across a 130” opening inside a screen porch. Allowed us to install outside quality drapes in a very cost effective manner. Pole has been sturdy and has not moved. Middle support hook that was included helps maintain without drooping. This gives us flexibility to close drapes for privacy and occasionally block morning sun for comfort. I like that the spring loaded design kept me from putting screw holes in porch columns when mounting.

It came very well packaged, assembly was easy (at least for me, because I didn't need to use any tools), and I Love the fact that a short and long extender rod was included for a perfect fit. The curtain (Wontex Room Divider Blackout Grommet Thermal Insulated Curtain 8.3ft W x 7ft L purchased separately on Amazon) fits nicely and is a light weight material even though it's thick. If I need a another Tension Rod It will be from this establishment =).
