Content: I needed a step stool that had a little extra height to use in my kitchen. I liked I could pick the height I needed and it's working great. I've had it several weeks now and I think all I did was unfold it from the packaging. I'm using it on vinyl flooring, so I did add some rubber adhesive strips to the legs to make sure it doesn't slip out from underneath me. I think it's very sturdy and great value for the money.

Content: This was repeat purchase so overall liked the design. As you move up in height, I felt like it was getting a bit 'tippy'. SITTING is not a problem at all. It would be a 5 if you're just going to use it to sit on. Use care when folding it out to use. I didn't fully engage the little plastic insert on the 'wings' into the 'platform' and it wound up breaking, which made it go into trash. I'm not that heavy, but I feel like the 'edges' of the platform in places gives too much 'flex', which makes me 'flinch' at times, thinking it is collapsing. Says 400 lbs. I'd be very careful on it if you're 398. I'd say it is good if you're just going to use once in a while and you take your time. Just be aware of your position. Folds up very nicely. I'd recommend it for the right/light usages. Again, Sitting Only would be a 5 rating.

Content: I love this stool! I've had the shorter version of this one forever and when I saw this taller version... it was a no brainer. This height is perfect for me for the top closet shelf... especially for all of my shoes stacked in their boxes. haha. I'm 5'6" and this stool is just the right height for reaching the top box and because this stool is so light, and easy to unfold, I can keep it handy in my bedroom. The fact that it folds flat, I slide it next to my dresser, prop it up under the window and an entire host of places and it's out of the way. I don't have to walk away, i just grab it and can get my shoes and finish getting ready and be done. It's awesome. The price it great too.... I can have multiples of these all over the house! This height is pretty good for if you need to sit and work on something at a low height too. Instead of having to squat, kneel or sit on the floor... I sit on this. Saves the knees and your bum sitting on the floor. It really is a convenient little stool. Is it perfect for performing crazy fix-it operations for long durations over your head? Maybe not. But for all those quick, grab something off a shelf or put something on a shelf or hang something. These are fantastic and I use them all the time. They are just the best! And how can you go wrong with those polk-a-dots?! Super cute! (EDIT: 2/3/23 to fix typos)

I have the lower version of the same folding stool and I've found it very handy around the house. The 18" height makes it acceptable to use as a portable seat. It is also a good height to reach the upper cupboards in my kitchen (I used to have to use a step ladder)
