Content: glad it is made of aluminum, which is very lightweight and easy to lift and put in the car. quick release fittings for the handle would be great to make it more compact to put in the car. base has a rubber tread on it to minimize the chance for slipping when wet or shoes are slippery. very easy to assemble, only 1/2 dozen bolts and nuts which are locknuts so they won't come loose.

Content: This stool is very sturdy and the treads are very good for slip resistance. It needed to be assembled but it was fairly simple but you will need to follow the directions. One of the pieces the holes for screws didn’t line up but the item was sturdy enough that I don’t need it

Content: The step stool arrived on time and is sturdy and exactly what we wanted, however deducting 1 star because it arrived without directions and there is no link or instructions in the description of the product. With a little help from the other reviews we were able to assume and assemble fairly easily. Would recommend the seller to add a link to instructions for “just incase” purposes. Tried googling, and using their website but was also unsuccessful. If you need directions use the small screws on the underbelly of the step on I and J. Criss Cross parts I and J to match the stickers underneath making sure I (flat middle) is under J. Then flip over and use longer screws as bolts for the hand rail at the base. The middle of the base uses the flat screws with the Allen key. Oh and use both tools on each side at once to tighten. I hope I helped someone if they don’t have the directions, good luck!

Content: Very easy to assemble. I saw a few reviews mentioning misaligned holes but sometimes it just requires little adjustments to line things up. Tools were included & there was 1 extra of all the screws & bolts & nuts needed included also. Instructions were minimal but understandable. Very sturdy step stool with a nonslip tread. I bought mine mainly to use as an exercise step but it will be handy to use as a step stool as well.
Title: Not impressed - more shaky that I thought it would be, and doubt the 600lb rating
Content: Assembled this item and a few observations... It is a little more wobbly side-to-side than I would have hoped...I am not going to say it is dangerously wobbly, but it definitely has a slight amount of back and forth side-to-side. I don't think it will cause issues necessarily, but it makes me question the overall quality and stability of it. When attaching the braces that go side-to-side, it was very hard getting the bolt assembly tight...once it was tightened as far as it could (it is a threaded female/male combination that can only be tightened so far), there was still play in the bolt...you could spin it with your finger. Check out the excellent video WineGirl posted, she shows it exactly. I am not sure, but this could be contributing to the side to side stability issue. I did manage to tighten it down as much as I can with some effort, but still having side to side wobble. WineGirl's suggestion of a washer might help, I am going to try it. I highly doubt it can hold 600lbs safely. When you feet are planted solidly in the middle of the pad, maybe. But I am 6'3" 215lbs...when testing it, I notice if I stand more towards the front edge of the pad (not even on my toes, just more so my feet are hanging over the edge a bit, there is noticeable flex in the pad on that edge. By flex, I mean deflection in the pad itself, not that the entire pad is moving as one piece, but the actual edge couple of inches of the pad is flexing. I can't imagine someone weighing 300lbs standing on the edge without it being at significant risk of cracking suddenly - and forget 600lbs, absolutely no way. And to be clear, I wasn't standing in some odd way that isn't realistic, very much was a position within a normal operating range of someone might use it...for example, how someone getting in or out of a bed might place their feet. I think this will be fine for lighter people who are physically capable, but if you are getting this for someone who either has physical impairments or is a bit heavier I would say pass on this one. I am actually contemplating seeking a refund. I expect better quality, better machined parts, and a sturdier product for something that people are using to step up on.

Content: Fue bastante complicado armarlo debido a que los 4 soportes de los alrededores no coincidían con los orificios y tuve que volver a aflojar tuercas para que entraran y aún así los de adelante y atrás quedaron como pandeados al no ser la medida correcta. Otro inconveniente que tuve fue que faltaron los dos tornillos que se usan en la parte media de los soportes laterales así que tuve que comprar unos para ponerlos. En cuanto a su resistencia no está tan mal, al pisar el primer escalón se siente algo inseguro pero con el segundo si se siente bien el soporte. Lo recomiendo para algo que no requiera mucho peso, para uso rudo no.
