Title: Awesome for the man cave bathroom!
Content: Okay it’s a kids toy bin, but my man cave bathroom is Rocky Mountain woods themed and this is what I use next to the toilet to hold the cleaning supplies. It’s hard white plastic on the inside so I don’t have to worry about bleaching from the inside out and it looks like a real stump. I like it and it’s the perfect size. It’s soft on the outside and on top too, giving it a real tree look. It was easy to put together and is sturdy.

I was decorating for my daughter’s Winnie the Pooh baby shower and I had an idea to put a wooden stump next to her so I could put flowers on it, and so my daughter could put her drink on. The fabric is soft, the top is solid so I wasn’t concerned about putting things on it, and it can now go in my new grandchild’s nursery to hold toys or even use it to store items in. Content: I was intrigued by how realistic this log storage stool looked. My home has a lot of natural wood decor, and this would fit right in minus the cumbersome weight and potential floor damage of a solid genuine wood log (I have those too). And the storage factor pretty much sealed the deal, as I could always use more storage. It is very lightweight and easy to move around. When I first received the log stool, I was a little concerned that it arrived flat, how sturdy could it be? The body or barrel of the frame is made of plastic panels that are connected by flexible strips, it is connected as one piece with vertical reinforcement supports molded into the plastic so it's pretty study. You open the body to a round barrel shape and insert the bottom round plate to hold the round shape, and then you have the lid that fits snugly into the top. It has more storage space than you would guess, I buy coffee pods in bulk boxes of 100 and I put them in a bag and they all fit neatly inside with room to spare. And it looks incredibly life like and realistic! That was the most impressive thing about it, how real it looked. My husband thought it was real wood at first glance. So now we were going to put it to the test. It says it can hold up to 220 pounds, but it also seemed like a lot of people were buying it for kids. My husband weighs about 175 pounds. He has been sitting on it pretty much every day for 2 months watching tv and it has held up perfectly with no signs of breaking or collapsing whatsoever. Though I asked him if he thought I could sit on his lap and he was like, uh, no. 😂 That would put us over the limit. I actually think it would be better suited for older kids or adults and this is why: If you come in hot 🔥, like launch yourself onto the log with some force, especially from an angle or to the point where it might tip over, you could potentially dislodge the top lid or even the bottom panel, and then the log might collapse since the top and bottom panels are what keeps it in the rounded shape. The way young children might playfully throw themselves on or climb on a stool. I believe the 220 pound limit is for the weight of a seated person or item pretty much centered on the top. If you're just going to use it as a normal seat, it's perfectly fine. Just thought I'd put that out there. Overall I absolutely love this item, and would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others.

What you should know: this item comes shipped flat. It is made of a heavy grade plastic inner support system with a fabric “tree” covering. To assemble you pop the circular side section open, insert the bottom stabilizer ring (make sure it snaps in place), then the top stabilizer ring (snaps in place too), then add the cute “tree ring” topper/seat. The topper has a little fabric pull tab so you can open and close the unit easily. I enjoy doing crafts and this little storage unit has enough space inside for my craft work. It could also hold your book and reading glasses, a package of snacks in the family room, a pair of slippers, etc. when assembled properly this little “stump” appears extremely realistic. Yes, it can be sat on, but it’s really not wide enough for a comfortable stool except for children. The fun of this little item is how it looks. Honestly this is just the cutest little stool. A very realistic, useful, and fun piece of decor!
