Content: We've had trouble getting close to dry for quite some time now and even put up a clothesline outside. I knew it wasn't the dryer and had tried to clean out the vent multiple times with no luck. I decided to look for something else and ran across this tool. Man does it work well. I started getting piles of lint right away. My dryer vent is about 20 feet long and on the second floor of our home so I wasn't too keen on being on the ladder. This tool worked so well at getting the piles of lint out that it made it "easy". Well, not easy, but tolerable. It really pulls the clumps out and will burrow through the ones that were very dense. Some of the clumps looked more like stuffed animals than lint. It's probably been that way for many years. The tool is easy to use with a battery-powered drill. Just keep adding the sections which are very sturdy but also very flexible. I was worried they would either be too flexible or not flexible enough. They were perfect. It took my wife and I 30-45 minutes to clean out the entire 20+ feet by working the brush in and out . I would recommend this to anyone needing to do the same job. What a lifesaver.

Content: Very easy to use. Watch the video and read the reviews. Be prepared for a mess especially if your dryer vent pipe is very dirty. I used a battery operated hand held blower and blew it thru the pipe from inside of the house after I had brushed the pipe from the outside. I tried to catch the debris but there was just so much that I just figured I'd rake it up and pick up the pine needles afterwards. Dryer is heating and working so much better. Air flow is a must. A note as others said (when using the drill only go clockwise or you risk unsrcrewing the flexible rods. The flexible rods bends around corners and curves very easy.

Content: When I ordered this, for the price, I was expecting some flimsy, gimmicky thing that, while not great, would get the job done if I put some effort into it. What I got feels like a professional-grade product. The brush itself is sturdy, and stood up to the beating my drill gave it. The connector rods are this Goldilocks mix of strong enough to take the abuse, but flexible enough to bend its way through a pipe corner 15 feet away. The connections between rods are strong and stable. I don't know why some reviewers felt the need to tape them-- unless you put your drill in reverse (which you are explicitly warned not to do) those things aren't gonna come apart. For my use, I took off the outside cover of my dryer vent, and stuck in the hose of my shop-vac and turned it on. I then went inside and ran the brush all the way through the vent until it hit the shop vac hose, and then pulled it back out. After it was done, I shined a flashlight into the vent to look, and it seriously looked like I had just had a professional duct cleaner service it. I was very impressed. The only thing I disliked about this is it really doesn't work well as a 1-person job. With multiple people, you could potentially connect the brush to your preferred length, and while one person holds the drill, the other people help guide the brush through the vent. Doing this by myself, it wasn't really feasible to hold my drill and try to guide a brush head located 20 feet away. I ended up connecting 3-feet worth of length, drilling the brush mostly into the vent, disconnecting the drill, unscrewing the drill-bit, screwing on 3 more feet of length, screwing back on the drill-bit, and repeat 4 times for the length of my vent. It was really time consuming and annoying, but its not really a problem with the product itself. I'm not willing to pay $500 for some telescoping brush, so I'm not going to get one. As a final bonus, simply connecting the brush to a single rod works as a great drill scrub-brush attachment that I was able to use to clean a variety of other things around the house with as well. So with a little creativity, you're getting more than just a dryer vent cleaner. Can't comment enough how impressed I am with this. 5 stars.

Content: We were looking for something to clean the pipe of our pellet stove. We cannot find a chimnet sweep that will come out to our home, or quotes one price then gets here and tripples it. The pellet people reccomended something like this. Both my husband and I have mobility issues, so getting down and cramming this up the pipe was going to be difficult at best. The lenghth was fine. Goes all the way to the top, even past the 45 degree bend in the pipe. It was a little difficult to get the fiberglass sections to bend enough at first. The end of the pipe is about 7 inches off the floor. But once we got it bent for the first section, it was easy to add more lenghth and advance it. It did a very good job of cleaning the pipe. The pellet stove repair guy had said to also shove the hose of a dry vaccuum up to catch the soot. Seemed strange, but worked well. We had tried a more flexable type, but it kept folding in on itself and we couldnt advance it high enough to do any good. It did a good job, I suspect it would work on a dryer vent too! I just never thought at 70 I would be giving a pellet stove an enema. But hey, we nedd to be open to new adventures, right?😉

Content: Easy to use. Careful when extended with multiple pieces, it will twist if you go too fast or try to use it by yourself. Again, only issue was when we use it about 20 ft long. One of the pieces twisted when being rotated by the drill and is no longer usable. Still, had lots of extra pieces so the job went as planned.
