Title: So engaging and fun!
Content: UPDATE: I decided to give this five stars instead of four now that I see how much it is helping my baby. I gave it four stars before because there were some imperfections in the wood. But I easily sanded smooth the inside of the butterfly cutout and can glue the crack on the monkey. My baby loves his table so much! It helps him side sit and kneel and engages his fine motor skills. If he is on his tummy or sitting upright on his bottom, I tilt the table so it’s a vertical busy board in front of him and that gives him a new way to reach and play. This table is the perfect height for a baby getting mobile and sitting up on their legs, so I recommend it for that development stage which is usually sooner than the age the package recommends, which is 12 months. If you receive one that is damaged, I encourage you to try to get a replacement because it really is a great toy! *********** My baby boy is 10 months old and was hooked on his new activity table as soon as I gave it to him. There are so many little things for his fingers to do and the design is cute with animals. I like the color scheme because it’s not the same ol’ bold primary colors on all other toys. It was fun watching my baby discover each activity. He looked busy at work! It’s a bit too tall for him while sitting down, so I sat and held him on a foam step to get him higher. When he can pull himself up onto his knees more, he will like to play that way. The only complaint I have is that the monkey door is cracked halfway through. I’m concerned this will break a chunk off so I will have to try glue to seal the crack. Paint on the snake was chipped, too. And the butterfly cut out on the circle spinner is raw cut wood, not smooth like the rest. Maybe I can put clear nail polish over that. I think it’s a cute table overall! But really, should be priced lower than $36. So nice to not have unnecessary lights and sound and tons of plastic, though.

Title: Aided my son with standing and walking
Content: This is a really sweet toy. I was unsure whether to purchase. I usually look at the reviews and make a call but this didn’t have many. I guess I’ll highlight the things that come to mind; -I loved that this is made from wood. There wasn’t many options for wooden activity tables and this one is inexpensive. It’s good quality and a nice finish and material. It’s very pleasing to the eye, bright and definitely draws my son in to play with. It’s a firm favorite. - I was unsure about the size. It’s not as big as traditional tables but it’s a good size. My son uses it to help him stand up and then he squats at it to play sometimes or stands up straight and can play with the butterfly or anything that sticks out. He’s in about the 40th percentile for height. He did briefly play with it sitting when we first got it but not for long! -it keeps my sons interest really well! You wouldn’t think it but it’s pretty good open ended play, there’s a lot to do and it’s repetitive but he enjoys it and you can engage and encourage with it too. He loves the mirror and also the butterfly (after having it for three months). When we first got it, he was most interested in the sloth and the spinning wheel. -it’s very lightweight which is both a pro and my con. My son occasionally likes to tip it over while playing and this obviously isn’t the most safe play option! We got this when my son was nearly 10 months. He’s now 13 months and it’s remained very popular with him. I’d say it’s well worth the money especially if you prefer wood over plastic.

Content: I bought this on Prime Day for $16. As I'm writing this, it's on sale for $35 with a list price of $54. I love Melissa & Doug products, but this just isn't worth $35. My kid barely played with it. It doesn't honestly do that much. I don't remember when I got it out for him, maybe a little after he turned one and he's getting close to two now. He'll walk by now and spin something every once in a while, but it really doesn't hold his attention. I know it's listed for age 1+, but maybe if I had given it to him earlier he would have played with it more.

My son occasionally likes to tip it over while playing and this obviously isn’t the most safe play option! We got this when my son was nearly 10 months. He’s now 13 months and it’s remained very popular with him. I’d say it’s well worth the money especially if you prefer wood over plastic.

Title: Great for sitting
Content: Love this thing. Took from 7 month old from a wobbly jellyfish to sitting longer than I can in a week. Also my 5 year will sit on the other side and play with the baby for an hour. The butterfly is always a favorite.

Title: Let me save you some money
Content: I bought this on Prime Day for $16. As I'm writing this, it's on sale for $35 with a list price of $54. I love Melissa & Doug products, but this just isn't worth $35. My kid barely played with it. It doesn't honestly do that much. I don't remember when I got it out for him, maybe a little after he turned one and he's getting close to two now. He'll walk by now and spin something every once in a while, but it really doesn't hold his attention. I know it's listed for age 1+, but maybe if I had given it to him earlier he would have played with it more.
