The towel was sort of lukewarm so I rearranged it inside it warmer and reset the timer to 30 minutes. When I came back to the bathroom to shower, I smelled something burning and when I checked the towel warmer, it was HOT hot. The unit also wouldn’t turn on, so I unplugged it and showered and the towel warmer actually kept the towel very hot, even after being unplugged. So after an hour or so I plugged it back in and turned it back on to check it and it worked. Well, after I showered, I put the towel back in the warmer and in the middle of the night I went to the bathroom—same burning smell—and saw the warmer with a code E3. I unplugged it but the top of it had melted and my towel—my $50 towel—is scorched to pieces. The warmer is useless at this point and maybe we’ve gotten our money’s worth, but after six months, I’ll never know. Not sure I recommend it.

I got mine on sale and it honestly has added to the quality of my life. It's nice to put on warm pj's after working all day. I got mine on sale and at that price I would purchase it again. It has a holder for a fragrance disk, replacements and different scents are available. This is a nice feature if you like that sort of thing, I enjoy them. I have a small bathroom but I will gladly give up some space for this clothing warmer. It is light weight and the cord is plenty long.

Content: We purchased this towel warmer back in March for our master bath and although I like it, I wish I could’ve loved it. I found that the warmer doesn’t distribute heat evenly and the only way it does is you have to set the timer to 60 minutes at a time and keep reheating to get a decent amount of warmth to your towels. My showers generally last about 15 minutes, so I would turn the warmer on and set it for 15 minutes and by the time I would finish my shower, the towel would be cold, so I figured either it wasn’t warming at the 15 minute timer or it was cooling down quickly. Turns out it wasn’t heating at 15 minutes, so in order to get good heat distribution through the towels I would have to keep reheating until they were warm enough. So in order to avoid having cold towels I would just put the towels in and set the timer for 60 minutes before we shower, so that way the towels will be somewhat warm. This evening, however, I was getting ready to shower and so I did as I usually do—I put my towel in the warmer and turned it on and set it for 45 minutes. The towel was sort of lukewarm so I rearranged it inside it warmer and reset the timer to 30 minutes. When I came back to the bathroom to shower, I smelled something burning and when I checked the towel warmer, it was HOT hot. The unit also wouldn’t turn on, so I unplugged it and showered and the towel warmer actually kept the towel very hot, even after being unplugged. So after an hour or so I plugged it back in and turned it back on to check it and it worked. Well, after I showered, I put the towel back in the warmer and in the middle of the night I went to the bathroom—same burning smell—and saw the warmer with a code E3. I unplugged it but the top of it had melted and my towel—my $50 towel—is scorched to pieces. The warmer is useless at this point and maybe we’ve gotten our money’s worth, but after six months, I’ll never know. Not sure I recommend it.
