Title: I adore it, just two possible cons
Content: I LOVE this tumbler. I'll go into detail on all the reasons why, but first there are two potential drawbacks, though it comes down to personal preference (hence I'm still giving it five stars). CONS: 1- The bottom of the tumbler has a non-slip rubber ring. I love this, because it holds the cup in place. For me, it's a pro, but it's a big con for my husband. He hates the grippy rubber on the bottom because if he bumps the tumbler with his arm, it'll tip over rather than slide across the counter. This isn't a defect, but rather a matter of personal preference to be aware of. 2- The hole that covers the hole you sip through has a latch, rather than a sliding cover. The downside to the latch is that if you tip the cup to drink out of it, the latch can swing down and be a bit in the way. It's a little annoying, but not a big deal for me personally. I think the reason why Reebok didn't use a slider is because this lid has two options in one: you can use the straw or sip, so there wasn't room on the surface of the lid to slide the closure (if that makes sense). Basically, this lid is versatile, but the trade off is that the cover for the sipping side isn't as out-of-the way as it otherwise would be. If you're just going to use the straw, then this is a non-issue. I don't generally use the straw side and prefer to sip, and while I don't love the latch closure, the other pros outweigh this con for me personally, and this tumbler is my new favorite bottle. I also think it's easier to clean under the closure because it's a latch, rather than a slider. (UPDATE: After using this for a few weeks, I found it is possible to hook the latch onto the lid so it doesn't flop. However, it's a little stubborn getting it on, so most of the time I don't bother. And for the record, I still love this tumbler. It's my favorite.) PROS: 1- The lid has a beveled edge that is SUPER comfortable to drink from. I've been using a Yeti tumbler for years and was happy with it, but the lip/edge on this Reebok tumbler was so noticeably comfy from the first sip that it won me over. Now I like it more than my old faithful Yeti. Sorry, old pal. 2- This tumbler is BIG. It holds a lot, but the shape makes it possible to fit in cup holders, yet it isn't so top heavy that it falls over too easily. I feel like balancing those two aspects could be tricky on such a large tumbler, so well done Reebok for getting it right. I have relatively small hands, but this large tumbler still fits comfortably in my hand. That said, since it does hold a lot, it isn't going to be lightweight when filled to capacity. Blame that on the contents, not the mug. Liquids weigh a lot. 4- Upgrading to a tumbler that holds more has helped me meet my goal to drink more throughout the day and stay more hydrated. 5- The temperature retention meets expectations so far. 6- The materials feel durable. I especially noticed the outer material. The care instructions say it can be washed in the top rack of a dishwasher and so far, so good. Unlike some tumblers I've ordered in the past where the color/design started peeling off, this feels like it'll last. I also appreciate that the color I received looks the same as the color in the product pictures. 7- The lid has both a straw and a sipping option. It's nice having both in one lid, since it takes up less rom in the cupboard than having both lids. Like I said earlier in the cons section, there's a bit of a tradeoff, but it works well for me. 8- At the time I ordered this, the Reebok costs $19.99 whereas a Yeti tumbler the same size cost a little more than double. That makes this Reebok an excellent value, especially since it doesn't feel like a cheap off-brand option. Like I said, I've shelved my Yeti in favor of this new tumbler because I like the new one so much. The two aspects I like best are the comfort of the lid edge, and how much it holds while still fitting in a cup holder. All in all, I adore this new tumbler. It's my new go-to and I've been using it constantly because I love it.
