That’s how my last blanket was, so I do know what that’s like- this blanket definitely do that. I ordered the 15lb blanket (I previously had a 20lb) but the weight feels perfect. Again, I think the even distribution of the weights, in combination with the inability for the beads to move to different sections, really makes a difference. The material that this blanket is made of is sooo soft. It’s a lightweight material so it doesn’t make me hot when I sleep. The combination of the soft material with the weight of the beads is such perfection. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a hard time falling asleep, but it’s also great for anxiety- something about these weighted blankets… they’re so soothing and comforting. It fits the top of my Queen sized mattress perfectly. 2. It’s too hot. Again, it’s a blanket. It is used for retaining body warmth. It’s supposed to keep you warm. I have little sympathy for people who complain that it is too hot. Don’t you know what a blanket is? It’s cold where I live (at the moment it’s -20 degrees below zero at 10pm. Two days ago it was -40 degrees below zero!) I wanted this blanket for warmth, as well as weight. I typically only need my AC on for about four weeks in the summer. And I like to sleep in a cold bedroom. keep my room at 55 degrees year round. This blanket provides ideal warmth. 3 The weight is uneven. The weight of this blanket is perfectly even. It is a quilted blanket, and each quilted section holds in place the layer of glass bead webbing which gives the blanket is mailable weight. This blanket is ideal. The outer fabric is soft. Content: My 4 year old has never slept well throughout the night. He is very restless and will get out of bed multiple times per night. His baby monitor records small snippets every time there is movement so I know he moves an average of 160 times per night. The first night he slept with this blanket he didn't MOVE, not even an inch for FOUR hours. I just couldn't even believe it when I checked on his camera the following morning. He had went from about 160 movements to about 40 in one night, with the blanket being the only change. Now that he is getting more restful sleep, he is in a better mood during the day and less emotional. His only complaint about the blanket is that it makes him too hot.

Content: My husband and I have used weighted blankets for years. His had a cover that would make me too hot at night. Mine had a “cool” cover but the beads had a tendency to move around so they were never evenly placed, which defeated the whole purpose. BUT, this blanket is PERFECTION. The material of the blanket is soooo soft and because of the even placement of the beads, there really isn’t any movement, and therefore it isn’t noisy. That’s how my last blanket was, so I do know what that’s like- this blanket definitely do that. I ordered the 15lb blanket (I previously had a 20lb) but the weight feels perfect. Again, I think the even distribution of the weights, in combination with the inability for the beads to move to different sections, really makes a difference. The material that this blanket is made of is sooo soft. It’s a lightweight material so it doesn’t make me hot when I sleep. The combination of the soft material with the weight of the beads is such perfection. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a hard time falling asleep, but it’s also great for anxiety- something about these weighted blankets… they’re so soothing and comforting. His baby monitor records small snippets every time there is movement so I know he moves an average of 160 times per night. The first night he slept with this blanket he didn't MOVE, not even an inch for FOUR hours. I just couldn't even believe it when I checked on his camera the following morning. He had went from about 160 movements to about 40 in one night, with the blanket being the only change. Now that he is getting more restful sleep, he is in a better mood during the day and less emotional. His only complaint about the blanket is that it makes him too hot.

Content: My husband and I have used weighted blankets for years. His had a cover that would make me too hot at night. Mine had a “cool” cover but the beads had a tendency to move around so they were never evenly placed, which defeated the whole purpose. BUT, this blanket is PERFECTION. The beads seem to be sewn into the individual squares of the blanket. One review had a video talking about how loud the beads are when they move around- I can’t replicate this. The material of the blanket is soooo soft and because of the even placement of the beads, there really isn’t any movement, and therefore it isn’t noisy. That’s how my last blanket was, so I do know what that’s like- this blanket definitely do that. I ordered the 15lb blanket (I previously had a 20lb) but the weight feels perfect. Again, I think the even distribution of the weights, in combination with the inability for the beads to move to different sections, really makes a difference. The material that this blanket is made of is sooo soft. It’s a lightweight material so it doesn’t make me hot when I sleep. The combination of the soft material with the weight of the beads is such perfection. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a hard time falling asleep, but it’s also great for anxiety- something about these weighted blankets… they’re so soothing and comforting. Highly highly recommend!! The only downside about this specific blanket is that the cover doesn’t come off for cleaning. Personally I use mine as a top blanket, so I may buy a cover for it as some point.

Content: My 10 year old is on the small size for his age. 55lbs or so. This is the perfect weight to help hi relax and sleep. He has ADHD and he is on the spectrum for ASD and sometimes at night he needs the weight to settle his mind and fidgety body. I can't believe we didn't think of this sooner.

Content: After only one night of sleep with it, I can comfortably say this will likely help my sleep. It feels very nice. HOWEVER, even though I purchased the “full” bed size blanket, it’s probably better fit for a twin size bed. The bed in the picture is a full size and you can see that it doesn’t even touch the whole width of my bed. Other than that, great product!

Content: Having read other reviews, good and bad, before purchasing this weighted blanket. I want to respond to some of the unfounded, and often ridiculous, criticism: 1. It’s too small for my bed. This blanket is just that: a blanket! It’s not a comforter, duvet, or bedspread. It’s a blanket. It’s supposed to fit within the corners of the top of your mattress, not drape down the sides or foot of your bed. I bought the Queen bed size blanket. It fits the top of my Queen sized mattress perfectly. 2. It’s too hot. Again, it’s a blanket. It is used for retaining body warmth. It’s supposed to keep you warm. I have little sympathy for people who complain that it is too hot. Don’t you know what a blanket is? It’s cold where I live (at the moment it’s -20 degrees below zero at 10pm. Two days ago it was -40 degrees below zero!) I wanted this blanket for warmth, as well as weight. I typically only need my AC on for about four weeks in the summer. And I like to sleep in a cold bedroom. keep my room at 55 degrees year round. This blanket provides ideal warmth. 3 The weight is uneven. The weight of this blanket is perfectly even. It is a quilted blanket, and each quilted section holds in place the layer of glass bead webbing which gives the blanket is mailable weight. This blanket is ideal. The outer fabric is soft. It’s the perfect amount of heavy. I was worried that the 20 lbs model I got was not going to be heavy enough, but it is just right. And it’s warm and comfortable. I’m completely satisfied with it. I highly recommend it.

Content: My 4 year old has never slept well throughout the night. He is very restless and will get out of bed multiple times per night. His baby monitor records small snippets every time there is movement so I know he moves an average of 160 times per night. The first night he slept with this blanket he didn't MOVE, not even an inch for FOUR hours. I just couldn't even believe it when I checked on his camera the following morning. He had went from about 160 movements to about 40 in one night, with the blanket being the only change. Now that he is getting more restful sleep, he is in a better mood during the day and less emotional. His only complaint about the blanket is that it makes him too hot.

Content: It’s a great size and made very well. It is comfortable and a great thickness. The beads are in individual square so it doesn’t all go to one side while sleeping. I bought the size indicated for my size child however it was much too light, just felt like a regular light comforter so we return and get a heavier, one of the same brand.
