Since they state weighted blankets, vest, so forth help most autistic children. Well I thought this 5 pound lap blanket would do the trick and perhaps solve my problems lol. Actually my child hates it . He wants nothing to do with it . I like it. It’s soft. It feels good texture wise, keep in mind I’m a adult here . Yet I put it on his lap in the car and 2 seconds later it was on the floor. He doesn’t care for it. So I use it and idk what I’m supposed to feel but I feel comfortable. Like I want to nap lol. Yet I put it on his lap in the car and 2 seconds later it was on the floor. He doesn’t care for it. So I use it and idk what I’m supposed to feel but I feel comfortable. Like I want to nap lol. So for me it was a no go. On the autism spectrum side. As for me having to use it now as my own bc I’m not going to trash it lol I wish it was longer. Yet it’s for little kids lol. Either to help make car rides to the store a little more calm. Where they are not kicking the seats or trying to escape from the car seat, or hitting who Evers in the car so forth. Since they state weighted blankets, vest, so forth help most autistic children. Well I thought this 5 pound lap blanket would do the trick and perhaps solve my problems lol. Actually my child hates it . He wants nothing to do with it . I like it. It’s soft. It feels good texture wise, keep in mind I’m a adult here .
