Content: I wish the picture I took did this film any justice. I got this film from my daughters’ room because we just moved to a ground floor apartment. I was looking for a cute way to give them privacy and still let light in. This film was relatively easy to lay, having the right tools makes it seamless. It lets in plenty of light, displays rainbows all over their room when the sunlight hits it directly, and is impossible for anyone to clearly see in! The pictures I took are on a partly cloudy day in January and it still looks adorable! Update: I added a picture of the rainbows on the walls when hit with direct sunlight.

I love how it changes look over the course of the day as the sun moves to the sky even at night it provides privacy. You may see blurred images up close but fades away at a distance and that’s with all the lights on inside. I also like that during the day, I can see if someone gets close enough to my window however, they cannot see me at all. I would highly recommend this, for anyone, seeking a little bit of privacy without blocking the sun. The film is thick, yet easy to apply to the window. It definitely helps with insulating the window. My plants appreciate that. My suggestions are to measure an error on the side of two bathing too small it’s easy to cut it down. Also, I recommend water with a little bit of dish soap and be generous when applying and to make sure that you clean the windows prior. It would not hurt to invest in an install kit I did it was under $10 but it came with a X-Acto knife squeegee spay bottle etc and everything you need.

Content: Very satisfied! •Apllication: The application process wasn't what i was expecting, but in my opinion was very easy and much better than anything that uses some sort of sticky adhesive, so now, when i move out of my apartment, there won't be any residue left! •Visuals: This is a great edition to my apartment windows, giving me extra privacy while still letting in tons of natural light! (Most important for a plant lover such as myself) It also casts rainbows across the room which are very nice to look at, especially when the sun hits just right! (Also great for photo ops!) •Packaging: The film came rolled up like a poster would, which kept it wrinkle free and clean. It was also very easy to get to and the instructions were also easy to find! •Cost: Considering how expensive things are these days, I feel that what I paid for the size of the roll was well worth it. The size was as advertised too! It was easily able to cover an entire top and bottom window (seen in photos) with a little extra to spare. I will actually be purchasing another roll to do my other window! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and easy, yet very effective privacy window! Or to anyone just looking to add some flair!

It actually casts a pretty little rainbow hue in the room during broad daylight. And at night, blocks out the peepers who might want to sneak a peak. It actually makes me happy to See the design while I’m sitting in my living room. Super easy to install. I did it by myself. The key is to get lots of water on the backing and then you can slowly maneuver the sides to where you want. Really happy with this purchase! Content: Once I got it on it was beautiful! Here’s the thing… it’s not really that easy to cut. Maybe if you have a large craft board and a set of sharp exacting knives it’s not but I don’t have those and I bet a lot of people don’t. My guess is most people will cut this with standard household scissors. My scissors are pretty sharp THAT IS KEY! Whatever you cut with has to be sharp! The directions that come with it are really good as far as how to apply it to the window. The process is fairly simple it takes patience more than anything. You have to make sure it’s cut to the correct size -as already established the plastic backing is tough so cutting is difficult- as many have said measure twice! Once it’s cut peel the backing off, spray water on the window and apply the smooth side onto the window. Smooth it and push the bubbles out. Kind of move it around to make it fit the window just right. I gave it four stars only because I would rather be able to purchase it in sizes that I need/want rather than by the roll. Final word, once it’s on the window it does what it advertises. It obscures anyone from looking in if you are overlooked from the street or another house. When the sun shines on it directly it prisms but even indirect sunlight is very pretty!

This window film was so easy to install. During the day the product looks frosty and has subtle rainbows on the window, but it refracts gorgeous rainbows all over the room. At night the window is dark, but any light from outside, like streetlights, cars etc. creates the most beautiful circular rainbows on the window.
