Content: I’m definitely not a fan of this at all. You get what you pay for here. I was looking for something inexpensive and I got something that is obviously inexpensive. I bought one of these and another similar looking set of 2 and the reviews of both are quite similar…yet this single was even worse than the set of 2. The rod is hollow thin metal that twists together in sections. The hollow tube lacks the ability to hold much weight. I have short blackout curtains on my 1950’s windows and you can see them rods bowing slightly. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this for full length curtains with any weight to them. THERE IS NO MIDDLE SUPPORT sent with the product which automatically makes it weaker. The sections limit the amount you can adjust the length across your window. My choices were the inside of the very edge of my window frame or about 4” to either side…however, that wasn’t truly an option because of the walls. So it would end up being 6” longer on one side of the window. The ball finials is RIDICULOUSLY small. It is obviously smaller than the other two which I referred to as comically small. Grommets can slide right over this with zero effort. Had I put the curtains on before hanging the rods - I would have returned them. Overall I’m giving it a 1 to be generous, because I gave the other set a 2. However, I could never recommend this as you can get decent ones from box stores for a few dollars more that look and function a lot better.
