I am very particular when it comes to my bath mats and have been trying to find one that was all of the above, easy to clean, sleek, good suction power (doesn’t slide), and actually comfortable to sit or stand on and this was perfect. A perfect size to fully fit a standard bath tub with a little cut out/indent for the drain.

Content: This mat is long, but still about 6 inches shy of being long enough for my tub (metal tub with tall sides from the 1930’s). The worst part is the chemical smell: it is so strong, you can literally taste it. I draped it over my porch railing outside in the sun for a week and hosed it down three or four times before using it. After a week of use in the tub, the chemical smell is still present, but probably 85% less than it originally was. If you’re sensitive to smells, be warned. The suction cups are strong, the extra length appreciated and the quality is great. But the smell… I almost returned it because of that alone. But I figured they all smell like that because of the materials bath mats are made of. The suction cups can be felt under your feet, which isn’t that comfortable, but better than slipping. The foam-type mats feel better, but get moldy quicker than this one. It’s not easy to scrub the suction cup side of the mat.

Content: I have a older but well maintained bath tub and wanted a new mat to cover the surface and improve the feel. This thing did the trick and its very comfortable and affordable at its price. I like the color as well and its nice to have bright aqua blue in the bathroom. I haven't found much success washing these in the past because dirt and soap scum get trapped in small pockets. Its better to buy two and just replace these every other year or so. That's a bit wasteful but my plan is to try and recycle these. There is a lot of wear and tear from standing on it so its not avoidable. These will protect the bathtub and won't induce any scratches either. I found the size and cut out by the drain to be well done. Note it does take some time for this to unroll and decompress to the right shape and hold it.
