Content: I've had bad experiences with other bathtub mats -- they either weren't easy to clean, were uncomfortable, or didn't stay in one place. This one is reasonably high quality from my experiences with it so far. It doesn't seem to mildew, and definitely makes standing in the shower more comfortable. Not a whole lot else to expect from something like this. One thing of note though: it does *not* stick right away. Content: Had to find a secure fit mat for this new shower floor that was dangerously slippery. We are in our 80s and could not risk a fall. This mat is perfect. No slipping at all any time. Feels really secure under foot. All the holes allow the water to flow freely away.

I forgot to put it down ONE time for my toddlers bath time and she slipped and got a little banged up so I will forever feel guilty. On the plus side, she now helps me to lay it down by firmly stomping all over it to make the suction cups stick to the bottom of the tub as she remembers falling and doesn't want to get hurt again. It covers the majority of the tub surface and is soft and squishy to sit/stand on. My daughter loves bubbles and colored foam soap, so it gets pretty slick in the bath and there's usually a lot of residue left behind when the water is drained. I rinse the mat and use stick-on hooks on the wall to hang it after every use, and it's held up beautifully with minimal additional cleaning necessary. I have well water with a sizeable iron content, and haven't noticed any build-up of orange iron spots whatsoever. What prompted me to leave this review was my husband bringing me his bath mat just now to ask me to add a new one to the shopping list, which in comparison is from the dollar store and is covered in streaky iron spots and generally disgusting (he's left on his own to clean his shower and peripherals). This difference between the two mats is stark and enlightening. This mat is truly wonderful and a great buy. Since my daughter and I share the bathtub/shower combo, I tried using this bath mat a few times while showering and while it's super comfortable and feels very safe to stand on, I don't like using it as much because my hair gets clogged up in all the little holes and it takes forever to get them out. I saw someone else mentioned that issue in reference to buying this to use when bathing their dog and had to laugh at myself LOL. Since I hate taking the time to clean out my hairs, I just risk my life every time I use conditioner instead :) I still give it 5 stars on the ability to clean, as I think it's more about cleaning soap scum, mildew, etc. than unwrapping hairs from the holes and suction cups. One more note on clean-ability: this is machine washable. I have zero issues doing this, but I don't do it all the time. I've probably only machine washed it about 6 times in the 15 months of owning it and the rest of the time I use a bathroom all-purpose cleaner and scrub brush. One area that exceeds my expectations is the way my long hair does not get stuck in the holes--it just flows right off! One area that is lower than my expectations is the suction cups. The mat does shift some during use, so if you or a family member has a real stability problem or other high fall risk, this may not hold in place well enough for you. That is why this is a 4-star item and not a 5-star item. However, I am happy with my purchase overall and would buy again.

Those chewed up ends are not how it arrived - it arrived perfectly intact. Before those 24 hours passed, it was too unfamiliar and fun-shaped for my cat to resist. It kept curling at the edges and well... we just can’t have nice things!! :) she made a game of biting at it and seems to enjoy the pop sound as the mat comes up. Now it is perfectly flat and stays put. Comfy to stand on. Safe in the tub. Colour is exactly as it is shown online - the lighting in my bathroom dulls it in my pic a little. Hope it’s non-toxic because chewing on this thing is fast becoming one of my little monster’s favourite games :P

This difference between the two mats is stark and enlightening. This mat is truly wonderful and a great buy. Since my daughter and I share the bathtub/shower combo, I tried using this bath mat a few times while showering and while it's super comfortable and feels very safe to stand on, I don't like using it as much because my hair gets clogged up in all the little holes and it takes forever to get them out. I saw someone else mentioned that issue in reference to buying this to use when bathing their dog and had to laugh at myself LOL. Since I hate taking the time to clean out my hairs, I just risk my life every time I use conditioner instead :) I still give it 5 stars on the ability to clean, as I think it's more about cleaning soap scum, mildew, etc. than unwrapping hairs from the holes and suction cups. One more note on clean-ability: this is machine washable. I have zero issues doing this, but I don't do it all the time. I've probably only machine washed it about 6 times in the 15 months of owning it and the rest of the time I use a bathroom all-purpose cleaner and scrub brush. I like the scrubbing bubbles foam spray-on cleaner for the underside of this mat for those times in-between deep cleans, as it gets in the nooks and crannies and I just have to rinse the foam out.

After perusing several options, I selected this one for a variety of reasons: It has holes in it so I thought that would help the mat dry between uses and prevent mildew. It is machine washable for easy care. It has suction cups. All of these qualities have lived up to my expectations, so that's great. One area that exceeds my expectations is the way my long hair does not get stuck in the holes--it just flows right off! One area that is lower than my expectations is the suction cups. The mat does shift some during use, so if you or a family member has a real stability problem or other high fall risk, this may not hold in place well enough for you. That is why this is a 4-star item and not a 5-star item. However, I am happy with my purchase overall and would buy again.

Those chewed up ends are not how it arrived - it arrived perfectly intact. Before those 24 hours passed, it was too unfamiliar and fun-shaped for my cat to resist. It kept curling at the edges and well... we just can’t have nice things!! :) she made a game of biting at it and seems to enjoy the pop sound as the mat comes up. Now it is perfectly flat and stays put. Comfy to stand on. Safe in the tub. Colour is exactly as it is shown online - the lighting in my bathroom dulls it in my pic a little. Hope it’s non-toxic because chewing on this thing is fast becoming one of my little monster’s favourite games :P

Content: I've had bad experiences with other bathtub mats -- they either weren't easy to clean, were uncomfortable, or didn't stay in one place. This one is reasonably high quality from my experiences with it so far. It doesn't seem to mildew, and definitely makes standing in the shower more comfortable. Not a whole lot else to expect from something like this. One thing of note though: it does *not* stick right away. You should expect that of anything with suction cups, but you'll want to put a small bit of water in (enough to make the bottom of the tub/shower wet) before setting this thing down, then press down on it first before stepping onto it so you can make sure it is firmly in place.

Content: This is the best tub mat I've used. It sticks and stays put, and the drain holes keep it from trapping water underneath, which cuts down on mildew. I thought it may be uncomfortable for my tender feet, but not so. It feels secure and non-slip. The TPE material should prove very durable and resist mildew. I got the black one, and like the way it looks in the tub. When you place it in the tub, be sure and dampen it first, then go over each suction cup and press down. It will stay put.

Content: Had to find a secure fit mat for this new shower floor that was dangerously slippery. We are in our 80s and could not risk a fall. This mat is perfect. No slipping at all any time. Feels really secure under foot. All the holes allow the water to flow freely away.

Content: I bought the grey one in Sept. 2022 and am reviewing it in Dec. 2023. This mat has almost certainly saved my daughter from probable head injuries. I forgot to put it down ONE time for my toddlers bath time and she slipped and got a little banged up so I will forever feel guilty. On the plus side, she now helps me to lay it down by firmly stomping all over it to make the suction cups stick to the bottom of the tub as she remembers falling and doesn't want to get hurt again. It covers the majority of the tub surface and is soft and squishy to sit/stand on. My daughter loves bubbles and colored foam soap, so it gets pretty slick in the bath and there's usually a lot of residue left behind when the water is drained. I rinse the mat and use stick-on hooks on the wall to hang it after every use, and it's held up beautifully with minimal additional cleaning necessary. I have well water with a sizeable iron content, and haven't noticed any build-up of orange iron spots whatsoever. What prompted me to leave this review was my husband bringing me his bath mat just now to ask me to add a new one to the shopping list, which in comparison is from the dollar store and is covered in streaky iron spots and generally disgusting (he's left on his own to clean his shower and peripherals).
