I personally don’t like the color difference as I feel it stands out like a huge big toe with teeny toes to follow. I don’t build or know standard heights of furniture but an 8” clearance doesn't seem to be right unless you’re a giant. My husband is a whole foot and a half taller than I am so this table now comes up high enough on me for it to be a stand up craft/sewing table. I am returning this product because apparently we thought we ordered just enough for my tall spidery shaped husband to fit under the table without bumping his knees on the overhang of our table. I happily put the risers on to find it is almost the same height as our sit at counter! Yes, it would be easier to just get counter height stools but hubby will not for some odd reason sit in them. There’s a difference with counter height and bar height. Anyway, the product is excellent but don’t sell 1” risers, so it’s back to the search engine again.
