Content: We have our HO trainlayout in our garage, down here in the Swamps of the Deep South. Hence we run dehumidifiers 24/7/365 to keep things running well. This was a perfect fit for our Frigidaire pair that we've had for several years now (they have normal sized, garden hose male connectors out the back). Now we're able to run them directly draining out the side of the garage, and the 14' made placement (and some movement at times) a breeze. They even included some plumber's teflon thread tape and an extra rubber gasket for the connector. The nickel-plated brass connector should have no rust issues either, here in the damp South. The hose seems to me much better than standard green garden hose, and it unkinked well once unwound and placed. It feels like it should last many seasons, probably as long as these dehumidifiers will. If not I'll be back here. I found it very worthwhile and recommend it for such an application.

Content: We keep a 30 pint dehumidifier in out attic space and run it especially in the winter to prevent mold because of the condensation build up. Our excellent dehumidifier came with a typical clear and thin hose, which is not too useful, getting kinks and some other issues. I found this excellent 9ft. hose from Amazon, arrived very quickly and packaged really nice. Out of the packaging I received the hose, plumber's tape and couple spare gaskets. Hose has a snake skin like texture with a brass connector on the humidifier connection side. After opening the package, prior to installing it I left the hose in our home for few hours to let it acclimate so it'll straighten up. After that installed it to our humidifier, it was a very nice fit, I didn't even use the included plumber's tape. Hose is very durable and I can see it to last us a many years to come unlike the clear one we had came with our dehumidifier. I highly recommend this hose.

Content: This hose gets good marks for quality and sturdiness. As you can see from the photo of its cross section, it is built much like an expensive garden hose. But since the water it carries will never be under much pressure, they were able to make it more slender and less reinforced. Therefore, it is flexible and more easily snaked through a small hole if necessary. I like the ribbing on the outside and the unobtrusive color. The fittings are good and it is nice of the manufacturer to include Teflon tape and two extra rubber washers. So it seats securely onto the dehumidifier outlet. That is not something you want to have leaking in your home!

Content: This hose is excellent quality made. I used for my dehumidifier positioned in my crawl space which requires a few bends to get to the floor drain. Fitting threads perfect to my dehumidifier I also used the thread tape(with plenty left over) to wrap the plastic threads on my dehumidifier and the included open washer(screened washer would cause a flow restriction). This hose does NOT kink and the water is flowing perfectly to the drain. Highly recommended
