The adjustments offer a good range of heat, the fan is not at all noisy, and the fire effect is pretty darned good. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that needs a reliable heater. It has the added plus of being quite handsome in a room. I also use the fire effect without the heat on cause it makes a nice night light when the other lights are out. The only disappointment was that although I thought the body/case of the heater would be metal, the case & legs are plastic; they are, however, a decent thickness and the legs are a good size to support the weight of the heater. My family & I all give it a 5 star rating.

Content: The media could not be loaded. First off, I liked the heater (crackling sounds in video are my own, the fire is silent). It was warm and had pleasant ambience. However the heater is designed as such that it will eventually melt internal parts. Maybe this happens to all heaters that have their heating element under their switches, but it is suspicious that only one of the switches melted, and happens to be the one that keeps the entire thing from working - the flame effect AND the heat. So now it's all broken, the first week of winter. If you plan to use it for small amounts of time or in huge spaces, perhaps this can be prevented. In my small apartment, it couldn't handle its own heat. Invest in something else for winter.

Content: I really like how small it is. I can use it in any room. It works great, I can keep the chill out and not worry about the boys touching it and playing with it. The flames really get their attention, so they like to put toys inside. I love that I don't have to panick when they get close to it.

Content: I have a 30 by 17 foot attic bedroom/living area. We have many electronics and three space heaters. We needed something that could sit next to a couch by the tv to keep that small area warm on cold days. This is perfect for that space. On the 1000W setting, it adds just enough heat to make that area comfortable, and we don't have to worry about tripping the breaker by running multiple electronics or heaters at once. The flames don't look as impressive as the popular and more expensive Duraflame heater, but they still look nice and give a comforting feeling. We appreciate the low volume-we don't have to turn the tv up to a loud volume to be able to hear.

Content: Like the size and appearance. Puts out good heat on low setting. Seems to regulate heat well. Cons: must have heat on to have the fireplace effect. No remote so you have to make adjustments at the unit. High heat setting doesn’t seem to increase heat output. All in all a good unit for the money. Time will tell it’s longevity.
