Title: Great little fan for sitting next to a woodstove
Content: The media could not be loaded. -- Design and Aesthetics -- This wood stove fan features a sleek and compact design that blends well with the stove. Its fairly small. Its build quality feels very robust, and its completely made out of metal suggesting it can withstand the high temperatures of the stove for prolonged periods. -- Functionality and Efficiency -- One of the most impressive aspects of this fan is its self-sufficient operation. It starts automatically once the stove heats up, eliminating the need for electricity or batteries. The fan speed adjusts consistently with the stove's temperature, which is a cool feature. In terms of heat distribution, I noticed it works well when sitting directly next to the wood stove. My room is a very large room in a garage workspace. If I'm sitting at the desk right next to the stove this little fan moves the air nicely. But when I'm across the room, I'm not sure such a small fan makes a huge difference in total air movement. -- Durability and Performance Over Time -- Having used the fan for for over a month, it has shown excellent durability. No signs of issues, and every time I get the stove fired up, its starts spinning as soon as the temp rises. Its actually really a great indicator when I'm out in the workshop I can peak back and make sure my fire is still roaring inside because it'll be spinning fast. If it starts to slow down I know to go add more wood. -- Overall Experience and Recommendation -- Its a neat little novelty device that I would recommend to others. In a smaller room or one where seating is near the stove (like a cabin), it certainly moves the air to you.

Title: Battery free & wireless
Content: I really like the lower heat activation of this fan, unfortunately it will not function @ full fan speed on a pellet stove. It works fantastic on a wood stove though & circulates the surrounding hot air quietly

Title: Doesn't move much air
Content: This fan is attractive and works like it should. It's quite small, and we don't notice it moving much air even at full speed. If you don't need or expect it to do much, it's a pleasant addition to wood stove decor.

Title: Lasted 3 days
Content: UPDATE: Can I take the 1 star away?? I returned the defective fan for a replacement. The replacement lasted about a month before it died. JUNK JUNK JUNK. Don’t bother with this fan. The fan functioned properly for 3 days. After that, I noticed that it started up slower and stopped earlier than it did when I first started using it. It got to the point where I had to manually spin the fan blades to get it to run. Do not recommend.

Title: Compact design
Content: The motor is still an electric component but does not need batteries , it does work fine near my fireplace. It took some time to start spinning but once done it does fast and moves heat in the room. I would not suggest to place it directly or too near the fire. There are plastic components in the motor like cables. It did work fine .no issues.

Title: Best Heat-Powered Stove Fan I have Owned
Content: The media could not be loaded. Have used heat-powered wood stove fans for a few years, and appreciate the small amount of heat that they blow away from the stove. Due to the fact that a limited amount of heat can be converted into electricity to power a fan of this type, the amount of warm air that they can move is also limited. But, any warm air movement from the fan does help to move some heated air to other parts of my home. I began looking on Amazon for a stove fan that would start to rotate at a lower temperature than the fans I now use, and saw this one and wanted to try it. The best fans of this type will begin moving air at low stove temperatures. That is where this particular fan shines. The blade begins to rotate at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Amazing! Other fans I use begin rotating at much higher temperatures such as 150F to 200F. Since it is still summer, I did not want to fire up the wood stove, so I tested this fan by heating it using an electric coffee cup warmer. See the photos and video for details. Looking closely at this fan, it seems to be well made and I hope it will work for many heating seasons.
