Title: Nearly Perfect Humidifier
Content: Our furnace does not have humidity control so the house becomes very dry during Minnesota’s 7+ month long winters. This brand came highly recommended by several consumer sites so we decided to give it a whirl. It was easy to set up and sync with the controller app that works with both ios and android devices. Both the cool and and warm mist settings perform very well, but we usually keep it on cool mist. The unit runs very quiet and we appreciate how the app offers notifications when the tank is empty. We bought the 4.5 liter unit figuring it would be easier to carry to refill. Glad we chose this option as it needs to be filled at least twice a day and it is not practical to run back & forth with a pitcher to fill it. All the features seem to work fine, except we have yet to use the sleep function as we set it to auto maintain 50% humidity. Time will tell how durable it is. Hopefully, it will last several years. Will update if any problems are encountered. My only concern is that the humidity sensor is on the unit where the humidity is at the highest. As it uses blue tooth & wifi technology, the manufacturer should consider offering a separate humidity sensor that can be placed across the room to ensure a more accurate humidity reading.

Content: I have bad chronic dry eye and this has been the best humidifier I have ever had. Even at the lowest setting, it has extremely decreased my overnight eye drop/ointment use. I also sleep with my mouth open and this has been a savior for dry/irritated throat feels. It’s also pretty quiet and easy to clean. It holds a ton of water but is still slim and fits on my small bedside table. I could easily run it all night and then an bit into the day before it ran out of water. I had it working great for a little over a year, then it started to leak. I fixed it a few times by tightening up one of the underside parts, but eventually couldn’t fix it despite many online searches. Oh well. I immediately ordered the same exact one as a replacement without hesitation. It’s well worth the price for how it’s helped with my dry eyes!

Content: I'll start of with it IS VERY quiet. You DO get a slight boiling sound on "warm mist", but it's not bothersome. That being said, lets move on. Received it at 7pm, had it running by 7:30pm. BY 6 AM the water level was low. It would probably have lasted until 7:30 or 8am, giving it around 12 hours (cool mist) run time on high before needing a refill. Now it was on high all night (cool mist), which brings me to my only REAL complaint. You can't preset the level for "automatic". It's either 60% or nothing. Has a big beautiful number on the front to display the humidity in close proximity, but you can't set it to a specific level to turn off at. It LOOKS like you can use your phone with an app to set it, but NO. About the only thing the app does if this is all you have is collect a bunch of info IT DOESN'T NEED to do the job. It will show you the humidity level on your phone, but if you're anywhere in the room the display is quite large and easily to read, making the app nothing more than another way to get spam. (oh that tasty spam) IF you could PRESET the output % for "automatic", this would be a solid 5 star, as it puts out a nice stream of mist, and is VERY quiet. And honestly, it would probably only add a few pennies to the cost to do this... OPERATION: 3 mist levels and 3 heat levels can be set. Putting it in "night" mode >appears< to turn off the warm mist (removing the boiling sound), along with the display. Even on low mist level it puts out a fair amount, and high you almost have a fog machine, making it great for larger areas like the living room. It has an "auto" setting, but as stated before it will only maintain the humidity at 60% Overall, it works quite well, and is quiet enough that you'll barely notice it running even in a very quiet room (even on warm mist). Good value, but would be a PERFECT value if you could set the level!!

Content: The Levoit humidifier is very effective and essentially noiseless in our very large master bedroom. It looks good, and is very easy to fill and clean. I really like that it uses two filters (replacements are readily available in 10 packs ). It has two adjustable vents allowing you to direct mist in different directions. The sleep functions turns all panel lights off. We use only distilled water, as ours is quite hard. Has three settings, you can get through the whole night if you choose first (lowest) setting — which is also the quietest gurgle noise for light sleepers like myself. Otherwise, needs to be refilled frequently due to the small sized chamber. We use distilled water to avoid mineral deposits. Eventually you will have to clean the pink bacteria that collects in the base, but it is easily accessible with toothbrush. No issues with mold as there is no filter. Liked it so much, I bought one for livingroom as well.
