They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wall without hurting the paint or need for tools. I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit of sharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a picture to the wall. You can move it about and no trace. IT does not go off with the paint. Humidity has a lot to do with how comfortable the air may be. I think we all think about hot and humid but cool or cold and humid aren't so great either: the term "clammy" comes to mind. Likewise very low humidity in winter can indicate a humidifier is called for. The point is having a way to measure humidity can be very useful to help make my home more comfortable. Things I like about the TP55 + The screen is large and easy to read (without my glasses) + the touch controls (backlight & C/F degrees) + 24h and all time max and minimum temp/humidity readings can be displayed + A nice little "kickstand" for sitting on a table and keyhole for wall mounting + The magnets on the back that work great on my fridge (the outside!) + The backlight has just the right brightness for my home + Even comes with batteries Things I don't so much: I'm not coming up with anything. I'm really very pleased. I'm really happy I got the ThermoPro TP55. It exactly meets my needs and has been working perfectly for a couple of months. Our building maintenance kept denying the corridors were too hot and humid and thanks to have this I could prove they were not cooling the building enough. Once I realised the air was too humid indoors i decided to purchase a dehumidifier to combat the problem and hopefully improve the indoor air quality.

Appreciate that the screen remains dark until you press a backlight button right on the front. Also, like being able to stand it up like a picture and not having to poke another hole in my wall. Granted, the hole would be small but this way I can move it from place to place as needed. Purchased two units -- placing one in my Living room and on in my Family room. However, next time perhaps rechargeable style would be more ecological and economical.

Content: Had this for a year now and it's been great to keep an eye on building humidity levels. Our building maintenance kept denying the corridors were too hot and humid and thanks to have this I could prove they were not cooling the building enough. I also keep it on my fridge now and can monitor indoor air humidity levels as well. Once I realised the air was too humid indoors i decided to purchase a dehumidifier to combat the problem and hopefully improve the indoor air quality.

THE TOUCH SCREEN Yes, I don't know how many devices of this size have touch screen but even if they do, they lack other features as I must have spent few days searching for a perfect device and this is it! I love how you can touch the screen to change it from F to C and back as you please and the light comes on if you need making the screen gorgeous blue like ocean or the early evening sky.. LIGHT ON /OF TOUCH .. gorgeous blue LED screen ! Yes, all you need is one touch and you can easily find it as it is in the middle of the bottom of the screen and no guess work here. Touch i and the gorgeous blue light as in picture comes up. I really love the fact that they did not lie in the product picture. Do you know how many times we all see product promising nice LED light to the screen and then it comes and it is phew.. meh.. NO, this baby is really what it looks in the picture. Lights come up for few moments for you to see better and then it auto turns off. EASY MOUNT NO tools with a little extra effort on your side. They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wall without hurting the paint or need for tools. I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit of sharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a picture to the wall. You can move it about and no trace. IT does not go off with the paint. Humidity has a lot to do with how comfortable the air may be. I think we all think about hot and humid but cool or cold and humid aren't so great either: the term "clammy" comes to mind. Likewise very low humidity in winter can indicate a humidifier is called for. The point is having a way to measure humidity can be very useful to help make my home more comfortable. Things I like about the TP55 + The screen is large and easy to read (without my glasses) + the touch controls (backlight & C/F degrees) + 24h and all time max and minimum temp/humidity readings can be displayed + A nice little "kickstand" for sitting on a table and keyhole for wall mounting + The magnets on the back that work great on my fridge (the outside!) + The backlight has just the right brightness for my home + Even comes with batteries Things I don't so much: I'm not coming up with anything. I'm really very pleased. I'm really happy I got the ThermoPro TP55. It exactly meets my needs and has been working perfectly for a couple of months. Compact but with a large enough display: it's better than I expected it to be when reading the product listing. Because I like it so much it should be obvious I'm giving it 5 stars. Humidity-wise too though I only have how I feel and the local weather as a basic of comparison. It is still going strong on the original batteries that came in the package.. Content: Had this for a year now and it's been great to keep an eye on building humidity levels. Our building maintenance kept denying the corridors were too hot and humid and thanks to have this I could prove they were not cooling the building enough. I also keep it on my fridge now and can monitor indoor air humidity levels as well. Once I realised the air was too humid indoors i decided to purchase a dehumidifier to combat the problem and hopefully improve the indoor air quality.

THE TOUCH SCREEN Yes, I don't know how many devices of this size have touch screen but even if they do, they lack other features as I must have spent few days searching for a perfect device and this is it! I love how you can touch the screen to change it from F to C and back as you please and the light comes on if you need making the screen gorgeous blue like ocean or the early evening sky.. LIGHT ON /OF TOUCH .. gorgeous blue LED screen ! Yes, all you need is one touch and you can easily find it as it is in the middle of the bottom of the screen and no guess work here. Touch i and the gorgeous blue light as in picture comes up. I really love the fact that they did not lie in the product picture. Do you know how many times we all see product promising nice LED light to the screen and then it comes and it is phew.. meh.. NO, this baby is really what it looks in the picture. Lights come up for few moments for you to see better and then it auto turns off. EASY MOUNT NO tools with a little extra effort on your side. They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wall without hurting the paint or need for tools. I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit of sharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a picture to the wall. You can move it about and no trace. IT does not go off with the paint. So out of few in total that I have ALL of them consistently show accurate temperature and humidity levels . EASY ONE TOUCH switch from C to F and back. TOUCH SCREEN ROCKS! So super easy, the C to F button is on the touch screen in the corner and you can know in the dark where it is if you need it but also you can touch the light and have light up and then you can see even better.. one touch switches to F.. another back to C and so on.. perfect for your European Guests or if you are fluent with both systems. HIGH and LOW is always visible so you can see what was the last high and the last low reading which is helpful if you need to know. Content: The ThermoPro TP55 does exactly what I want and with excellent design. It has exceeded my expectations. I like to know the humidity but until the TP55 I did not have a hygrometer. Humidity has a lot to do with how comfortable the air may be. I think we all think about hot and humid but cool or cold and humid aren't so great either: the term "clammy" comes to mind. Likewise very low humidity in winter can indicate a humidifier is called for. The point is having a way to measure humidity can be very useful to help make my home more comfortable. Things I like about the TP55 + The screen is large and easy to read (without my glasses) + the touch controls (backlight & C/F degrees) + 24h and all time max and minimum temp/humidity readings can be displayed + A nice little "kickstand" for sitting on a table and keyhole for wall mounting + The magnets on the back that work great on my fridge (the outside!) + The backlight has just the right brightness for my home + Even comes with batteries Things I don't so much: I'm not coming up with anything. I'm really very pleased. I'm really happy I got the ThermoPro TP55. It exactly meets my needs and has been working perfectly for a couple of months. Compact but with a large enough display: it's better than I expected it to be when reading the product listing. Because I like it so much it should be obvious I'm giving it 5 stars. UPDATE 28, Apr 2018: I have really liked my TP55 thermometer/hygrometer since I got it last summer. It was very helpful in winter to let me know when to break out my humidifier. Humidity-wise too though I only have how I feel and the local weather as a basic of comparison. It is still going strong on the original batteries that came in the package.. I remain very pleased and fully satisfied.

Appreciate that the screen remains dark until you press a backlight button right on the front. Also, like being able to stand it up like a picture and not having to poke another hole in my wall. Granted, the hole would be small but this way I can move it from place to place as needed. Purchased two units -- placing one in my Living room and on in my Family room. However, next time perhaps rechargeable style would be more ecological and economical.
