This is definitely a two person job mainly for having an extra set of hands to hold things. The mantle elevated the look and feel of the fireplace!

Content: I contemplated purchasing a floating mantle for months before ordering this mantle. Delivery was easy and installation was even easier. The shelf has a nice, sturdy construction with a great finish. I will say that I am fairly handy however I have never been a professional handyman, making this a great DIY product for those bold enough. I “dry” fitted everything first, measured 4 times to ensure I had everything centered and pre drilled into the studs. Once I got one side of the support piece in, I leveled it and screwed in the opposite side. Before securing all 4 screws, I put the mantle on to ensure it’s was where I wanted it. This is definitely a two person job mainly for having an extra set of hands to hold things. The mantle elevated the look and feel of the fireplace!

Content: The packaging is the best I have encountered in quite a while. It looks so much better in person. The color is just a shade darker than a dark cherry with a faux wood grain visible. Easy to mount. You will need a drill and a level. Also, be prepared to use larger wall mount screws as the ones provided are not adequate. You will need a stud finder or very hearty drywall screw in lags. The product itself is surprisingly light in weight, but items placed on it must be considered. Liked it enough to buy two.

Content: We bought this to replace an old Mantle after changing out the brick around the fireplace for tile. This one fit perfectly and the style is beautiful. This arrived from Amazon in two days. It was easy to install but required both my husband and me due to the length. It arrived well packaged and with instructions, French bracket, and mounting screws (we changed out the screws for longer ones). Tools we used were a drill, stud finder, and measuring tape. It took us about 15 minutes. The wood is light-weight, but looks nice with the finish on it. The color is a deep brown but still shows the detail of the wood grain. I like that there is a slight lip around the edge to keep items from falling off. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Content: Instructions were terrible and confusing if you don’t know what you’re doing the instructions are no help. The screws were too short so we had to stop by Home Depot to buy some. The wood base itself didn’t have any holes either we had to drill it ourself with a drill if you don't drill it first the base will crack and you would break it and have to return it. I don’t recommend purchasing this overpriced product that comes with nothing and wrong hardware. 0/10 I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
