Content: I was a bit skeptical about this particular brand simply because they make literally everything. But this was a very nice surprise. Very nice (solid) wood, no veneers here. Great mounting system. Although, I wish it were a cleet system. But it mounts up solid! Very happy with my purchase. Without a doubt the best mantel for the money on Amazon.

Content: This is a nice mantel. I overall like the outcome of the purchase. It came with a crack in it. A covered it with a cloth and tapped it with a hammer and it was good. Next, I don’t like that the holes and screws are showing topside up. So that you can see them on the top of the mantel. This isn’t a huge dealbreaker obviously but something I think you should know if you are buying it. For the price, installation and everything I am happy with the purchase!

Content: I’ve been wanting a mantle for 21 years. I never thought about buying a pre made one. I took a chance on this one and I just want to say, it’s very well made. It was easy enough to install by myself. I did have my husband help hold it when putting in the final screws. The wood grain is perfect! I think the only improvement I could suggest (which another reviewer stated) they really do need to included the wood plugs for the holes on top of the mantle. I’m waiting to see how it does with the heat. I read some mantles have a protective coating applied so the heat won’t ruin the wood. This one didn’t say it had any. Time will tell. Mine is mounted above a wood stove insert and it throws a lot of heat. I’m hoping for the best. So far it’s perfect!

Content: Real wood as the description states. Consistent color in the stain. Well constructed, easy to install. Only critique: they could include plugs for the screw holes as it mounts from the top. We’ll use a stun pen to touch up a bit around the inside edges of those screw holes and probably never be noticed.
