It works well and was easy enough to mount. My husband added some more support because he's paranoid but its held up well through the holiday season with picture frames, candles, decorations and stockings. We don't go over 10 lbs of stuff though. Kind of hard to fit more anyway. It looks nice and clean and crisp, but simplistic. It just spans the length of our fireplace; I would've liked 2-4 inches wider but couldn't find anything like that. Price was good and quality is good so I'm happy, My fireplace looks more finished now.

Content: It looks great... however there was a small split in the back in a non-load bearing place and an issue with it sitting flush against the wall. The small split isn't visible and doesn't affect the function, so I decided not to bother with the return hassle. The mounting issue was solved with a small wedge of wood behind one of the mounting blocks. It's SUPER easy to install, so I upped it a star for that despite my other issues. Plus, it was WONDERFUL to see a product with actual quality hardware. The anchors were solid and the screws are SUPER long to go straight through into the stud. I'm comfortable enough to sleep with this over my head without worrying about it falling down in me. Plus, the price was awesome, especially in comparison to other similar products. I'm super pleased with what I hit, and definitely feel it was worth what I paid.

With him returning in a few days, I scoured Amazon. The delivery was great! So we opened the box and was perfect. Not super heavy but sturdy. it came with all the hardware. The holes were lined up perfectly. The contractor said it was so easy to hang And it was better than the one I bought from other mantle manufacturers. I'm so pleased with this purchase.
