Content: Can be smoky. Works very well. Doesn’t stay lit as long as Duraflame fire start block does, but if you have sticks and logs that aren’t soaking wet, you’ll have a good fire. I had logs that weren’t quite dry (but they were dry to the touch) with some half burned wood from a previous fire (very dry!) and I had to use about 5-6 of these starters for one fire. But they catch easily and burn well and definitely replaces kindling and you don’t need tiny sticks.
