I trimmed these with no issue and double checked the seems to make sure they were still stitched tight. Everything was great. The zipper is on the long side of the pillowcase. I'm not used to that and I thought I would hate it but honestly, it's great. I forgot how much I despise trying to shake and shimmy a body pillow into a pillowcase. It took me less than a minute to get the pillow in and it looks great! The only reason I'm giving this pillowcase a four versus a 5 is that it was covered with a lot of loose threads when I pulled it out of it's packaging. It feels pretty solid like it will last a decent amount of time but the amount of threads all over it makes me question it's lasting quality. It is not soft and it is on the thinner side.
