Title: I’m so impressed with these MCS Original Poster Frames!
Content: I initially purchased two and loved them so much that I went back and ordered another set. They are lightweight, easy to hang, and perfect for showcasing posters or art prints. I’m using them for my Apple Think Different posters. The sleek black design gives a clean, modern look, and the quality is excellent for the price. These frames have truly elevated my house. Highly recommended!

Title: Great way to protect a special poster
Content: Unfortunately, I ended up having to return mine because I purchased the wrong size. It turns out my poster is a custom size. However, it was easy enough to use and I appreciate that the plexiglass had a clear protective film on both sides showing that would not be delivered, scratched or scuffed. The one piece of advice I can give is that there are no instructions explaining how to remove the edges of the frame so that you can insert your poster. You need to gently pull or slide them off the edge. I initially thought that the border was metal and I was trying to peel it back like you do with the tabs on a regular picture frame , thankfully, the plastic that surrounds the edges of the poster is quite resilient and I didn’t break it so I was able to figure it out. Hopefully that helps.

Title: You get what you pay for!
Content: Not the greatest quality, but you get what you pay for! Setting them up was pretty difficult, mostly because my posters were curled at the ends, it possibly could've been easier without it, but it's definitely a bit more difficult than other frames. Also, they kind of hover away from the wall because of how they're hung, so if you want a super clean, flat look. Then keep looking !! I haven't had any problems with scratches or fingerprints so I can't speak on that.

Title: Cheap, economical, decent looking, PITA to install, durability could be better
Content: For cheap poster frames, its hard to beat this. Most economical way to frame posters, especially if you buy like new/open box/return from amazon warehouse. And they look decent installed. The problem I had was installation was a little tedious, but completely do able.felt like I was damaging my poster trying to make it fit into frame (the edges of poster). I messed up, and tried to hang the frame with double sided tape and velcro strips. This worked for a few days and it looked good; came home from work, poster on floor, and front plastic protection was cracked in corner. The reason it fell is on me, I suspect I didnt do the adhesives right or shouldve used more. Either way, the fall made the poster look ratty with a lower chunk of the translucent plastic broken off. All in all, these looks good but make sure you mount them right because if they fall off the wall they arent the most durable, the front clear plastic can snap and crack off, so be careful.

Title: GET ANY OTHER FRAME. Avoid this one!
Content: Let me say right off the bat, this was absolutely the worst experience I've EVER had putting a poster in a frame. TLDR- These are horrible, don't get them. More context- 1) This STYLE of frame, with low profile, slip on plastic coverings, I happen to really appreciate how no-fuss, and easy they are to use or change. I had two other frames of this same style (DIFFERENT SELLER, CLEARLY) so I had been looking forward to getting my biggest posters in the same style. So, I'm not inexperienced with how to properly use/assemble these frames. 2) I'm not a meathead who believes might makes right. I'm not weak, but I don't want to damage my nice things either. THESE FRAMES ARE SO SHODDY (specifically, the cardboard backing they use) THAT JUST TRYING TO GET THE PLASTIC FRAME WEDGE ON, can STRIP the cardboard covering, and JAM the frame. 'It's just cardboard, no big deal, right? WRONG. The frame wedge lip is curved inwards for the 'smooth/sleek' look, which means that it actively works AGAINST you, when the cardboard (or poster) gets caught between the plastic window and the frame. If you try and force it figuring the paper will just slide underneath like a good poster frame, you can imagine my astonishment when the frame CUT INTO THE WINDOW PLASTIC ITSELF. So yes, just trying to put the frame together, I damaged the frame, all because of the flimsy cardboard. It's SO flimsy, that if you were to try and wiggle or lift the poster, the backing will bend/crease, which will ALSO exacerbate the edge alignment of the cardboard, because even picking it up to move around can damage the alignment of the cardboard edge, such that it is extra primed to peel away and get wedged. 3) I honestly cannot overstate how unpleasant this was. Putting 2 posters in frames especially slip ons like these should have taken 5 minutes tops, and that's even factoring being delicate removing the protective films to make sure you don't smudge the inside with fingerprints, and this took me over 20, laden with profanity. The only thing that sped up the process so I stopped hating life, was pulling out MY KNIFE, and literally CUTTING AWAY the cardboard as it got jammed by the frame lip, rather than trying to get the lip over the paper that wedges out. If they were dead set on using cardboard that was so disgustingly flimsy, to save money, they should have provided yet another flimsy support structure so the frame could retain it's shape better, but honestly, it can't be THAT much more expensive to just get a decent cardboard that is reasonably rigid and dense. The ONLY reason this even gets 2 stars, instead of 1, is because, after the massive failings of the backing, if you're able to get your posters in, they do fit the listed dimension, and they do look nice through the window. (If you don't notice any cracks if the frame split it, that is.) So, a poster frame SHOULD look nice, and fit the dimensions they list, so, alas, 2 stars. It's not a complete failure. It's just such a big failure I absolutely hated it, enough to write this review hoping to spare others from buying this mistake.

Title: Great affordable and light weight option
Content: Yes, as other reviews say, they are very cheaply made. It's $40 for two 18x24 frames, what would you expect? A decent glass frame that size costs more for a single frame. And the listing very clearly describes that it's cardboard backing and plexi insread of glass. These popped together easily and my new posters look great i them. Another bonus of the cardboard/plastic combo besides price, is they are incredibly light so I dont have to worry about them falling off the single small nail I hung them with.

And the listing very clearly describes that it's cardboard backing and plexi insread of glass. These popped together easily and my new posters look great i them. Another bonus of the cardboard/plastic combo besides price, is they are incredibly light so I dont have to worry about them falling off the single small nail I hung them with.
