Content: I am really not sure how these are supposed to be able to be moved around to different windows, especially while traveling. You need to attach velcro to the window and the back of the curtain in order to use them. If I could take off just half a star for this even being mentioned in the description when it's really not feasible, I would. But it's not worth a full star off so I'll leave it. I needed it on a sunroom door window, which faces west. I had already taken care of the large windows but needed something easy for the door. Installation was quick as I already had a strip of velcro at the top of the door. It blocks the sun really well and helps hold the temperature down. When I don't want it fully blocking the door, I tie it off in the middle with a piece of ribbon. It's great for my need, just cannot see this being used while traveling!

They come in very large sizes and can be cut to fit smaller windows, so going with the biggest available option gives the most flexibility and value for the money. The sticky Velcro pad can also be cut to fit more narrow spaces. The Velcro pads are a little thick, so they do let in some light on the edges (see video), but considering the overall customizable and clean product design, these are still the best option on the market. I have tried other products like blackout shades, blinds, etc and while they all work to some degree, they all have edge light issues but also take up a huge amount of unnecessary space. This blackout cloth is appropriately simple and blocks almost the entirety of incoming light. It can easily be used with other blackout methods for even more effective blocking.

Content: I bought these for a bright room in the house. I expected curtain like material, it was more like a disposable tablecloth that is a bit thicker than usual. They worked for what i needed them for. You can also customize the size/shape of the window you'd like to cover. The installation is nice with the Velcro adhesives, but not ideal. These window black out are great for covering the window that lets in a lot of light but its not the most esthetically pleasing. You might still want to have a decorative curtain to make it look "pretty". They work for light blocking.

So I turned to amazon and found this wonderful product that blocks out every bit of light! The shad itself is great quality, it comes with many adhesive pads, that are very sticky! They hold against our textured walls well, however can only be placed once, if they make contact to a surface and then are moved they do not hold. This helped me not only get around that rule, but also completely darken my room!
