Content: They were very easy to installed and exactly the size I needed for the glass panels on both sides of my sunroom door.

Content: These are the right length for what I needed, but if I needed to do this again, I would purchase another brand. While the rod is white, the end pieces are silver metal. The silver against a white door just really make the rod stand out. I sanded the pieces down and painted them white to match my doors. The end pieces are very jagged and rough. If you have delicate curtains, the rod could potentially rip through the material. I have a heavy weight fabric and as I was pulling the rod through the curtain hole, I could hear and feel the rod scratching the fabric. I should have sanded the rough edges down prior to installation. The rod is also very hard to get it not to slip out of the main piece. Be patient as you thread it through curtain or the pieces will separate and make it is difficult to get to the curtain. I ended up through the plastic end away since it got in the way. I am not sure if you are supposed to used them or not. And only one end comes with a plastic cover. TIP: Remove the plastic end pieces if you are threading this through a curtain because it is very difficult to get the rod through and it might get stuck.

Content: As others have noted, the rods have no end caps. The open ends are pretty visible depending on the location of your windows, and look unfinished. in our house, the windows are not easily visible from the sides, and we were able to cover the ends with the curtains. Otherwise, we would definitely have returned and picked different rods.

One complaint is the ends - if not looking directly at the face of the curtain, you'll see the bare metal mounting hardware; some white plastic end caps would have been nice. There's also not much relief at all - the curtain will be right up against the door. For curtains that won't move much it's fine, but there's no locking mechanism between the two adjustable rod sections, so there's a decent chance the thing would come undone when casually moving the curtains.
