Title: Clearer skin
Content: Not going to lie, ever since I placed this filter onto my shower, I have felt my skin become so much cleaner, and silkier. Content: This thing is pretty big but because the filter is attached via the side of the piping it doesn't lower the shower head as much as it would if it was an inline filter, that's a big plus for me as I am 6'2" and live in a mobile home. That means the shower head is already close to the top of my head and with this filter on it is low enough to be annoying but still useable. Water pressure is cut almost in half but that's to be expected with any decent filter, if you don't lose water pressure it isn't a good filter. It's been a month since I installed it and I can fell the difference with my hair and skin thankfully. The water where I live was drying me out horribly bad and leaving red stains in the bathtub. I don't have to worry about that anymore with a shower filter so that's a plus. The filter is set up in a manner that allows it to swivel around without loosening anything so you can position wherever is best for your shower. Other than the pressure loss I would say the only real downfall is there's no way to get replacement filters from what I can see.

Content: We have hard water so this was a great solution without having to get a big water softener. Hard water is tough on your hair so this will hopefully help. It’s very easy to install. If you know how to unscrew and screw then this should be simple. I really like this solution because once you’ve used it you can just unscrew the top and put in a new filter instead of having to unscrew the shower head. Although since it’s enclosed, how will you be able to tell if your filter needs to be changed? I don’t like that they don’t tell you how long the filters last so I’ll just have to use it and see and update this.

Using a standard TDS [Total Dissolve Solids] meter usually used for drinking water, the water quality went from 198 to 148 using this filter, showing that it does remove particles from the water. While we didn't notice any dramatic difference, it helps reduce skin irritation and hair damage, particularly over time. Unfortunately, I am unable to identify any support for this product. I've photographed the entire instruction sheet. It contains no contact information, mention of how often to replace the filter, or where to get replacement filters. Because of that, I can't recommend this, although I would like to because I think it's a useful and inexpensive item. However, as of now, I would have to replace the entire unit. Hopefully, that can get resolved soon, and I can update the review.
